Unfortunately the article is rather general, delivering very few new things and nothing which can be labeled as a break through. We all know that amongst the abysmal record of various CPPS remedies, the PT is one of the better ones. There are 2 major tasks within this field: 1. to make urologists more sensitive to PT based CPPS treatment, PT is not an adjunct therapy, but an essential one...2. The research on PT should more concentrate on particular issues, e.g. exact trigger point reference, how often and how long the best PT therapy regimen works, which trigger points are most challenging to treat, which level of physical activity is optimal, how to fight the detrimental post-ejaculation pain etc.
