I read somewhere that they may be ready to try this on humans in about 3 years. Between this and the potential findings of Dr. Dimitrikov's study, the future could bring some serious relief. Lets all hang in there.

Very interesting. The developments in the life sciences these days are increasingly fascinating.
Started: Spring 2003; high urinary frequency and pain associated with bladder filling; urinary hesitancy; pubic/prostate/perineal discomfort; Helped by: trigger point therapy, Afrin nasal spray, Cymbalta, hydrocodone (small doses), distraction. Makes worse: sex.

Yes, this is a great study from a well-established group! I just met with an MIT student last month who interviewed to work with me on a collaborative project between Harvard and MIT for gene therapy of spinal cord injury along the lines of the PNAS article you posted!webslave wrote:The abstract is here
