International Pelvic Pain Society Meeting Aug 5-7, Chicago

Post by webslave »

This society, which has mysteriously excluded males from the purview of its website, is holding a meeting in August with some interesting speakers. Examples:

Jeanette Potts MD "A Non-Urological Perspective on CP/CPPS"
Richard Berger MD "Chronic Prostatitis: Infection or Pain Syndrome?"
Jerome Weiss MD "Male Anatomy"
Rhonda Katarinos "Pelvic Floor/Abdominal Wall Interaction"
Rhonda Katarinos "Physical Therapy: Evaluation and Treatment of IntraPelvic and ExtraPelvic Structures, Adverse Neural Tension on Lower Quarter Peripheral Nerves [etc]"
Jerome Weiss MD on Pudendal Nerve entrapment surgery (it seems Weiss is a proponent of this surgery)
Craig Smith MD "Interstim"
Quentin Clemens MD on "Chronic Prostatitis/CPPS in 2004"
Stanley Antolak "Divining Pelvic Pain: Anesthesia, Anatomy and Anecdotes"
Ursula Wesselmann MD "Vulvodynia Update"
Jon Steege MD "Neurophysiology of Pelvic Pain"
