Presenter: David Wise, Ph.D. co-author, A Headache in The Pelvis: A New Understanding and Treatment for Prostatitis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndromes
Participants will receive detailed training instruction and practice in Paradoxical Relaxation of the pelvic muscles described in A Headache in the Pelvis in order to use a one-year audio course on pelvic relaxation. As part of the instruction, the methodology discussed in Dr. Wise's book for facing and neutralizing the negative thinking that exacerbates pelvic pain and dysfunction will be taught. Issues related to the A Headache in the Pelvis protocol for chronic pelvic pain syndromes will be addressed. Dr. Wise will discuss his own experience with prostatitis.
This workshop is oriented toward learning the Paradoxical Relaxation protocol which is necessary to be able to use a 30 lesson year-long audio home practice program. This year long audio course is included in the cost of the workshop.
