Review: GYMBOSS Interval Timer for Relaxation

Post by webslave »

I bought a GYMBOSS INTERVAL TIMER to test it out for y'all. It's very useful to remind you to "drop"† the pelvic floor periodically during the working day († - as defined in the book Headache in the Pelvis).

What can this unit do for us?
This timer can beep (loudly or softly), or vibrate, at set intervals to remind us to relax. The reminder will repeat up to 99 times. So if you set an interval of 5 minutes between reminders, and the number of repeats 99x, the unit will remind you every 5 minutes for the next 8.25 hours. If you make the interval 10 minutes, and the number of repeats 99x, you'll get reminders for the next 16.5 hours. That should be adequate for anyone's needs.

First impressions: It comes in a blisterpack with a small set of paper instructions folded up behind it. This feels like a quality product. It has a satiny finish and a solid feeling clip in the rear. It takes one AAA battery.

Next I'll post a Youtube Video, and then finally, my experience of using it.

It's dead easy to use, simple and effective. I set it on the vibrate setting, which most people will need to use in an office environment. You could clip it to your clothing or leave it on your desk, either way you would not miss the vibration.

For $20, this is a must-have for anyone with pelvic pain.
