Re: Flare after four years.

I've had this since 1993 Garys and my pattern never changes. I get a major flare like when it started, which lasts about 3 years, then the 3rd year I go into remission, 95% pain free and stay like this for 2-4 years, then it comes back full on. In between, when in remissions, I get the odd flare whi...

Re: Clenching during sleep

The bladder holds very strong urine during night which is often why that first wee in the morning flares people, it can irritate while sitting in the the bladder undiluted for so long during the night.

Re: SUMMER PLEASURE!!!

I am 98 % symptom free since the warm weather. Staying hydrated is also key though, tensing in the cold is a flare-up guarantee for me :-|

Re: interesting book

He became symptom free without trigger point release, resting the mind seems to be the true key, trigger point release on its own would not maintain this result !

Re: Describe a flare?

A flare is when your everyday baseline symptoms increase for whatever reason making life much more challenging . I picture mine like having deep cut that hurts everyday then now and again someone puts vinegar on it .

Re: 10 months in and counting

So Bill has been trained by PTs who have been trained at Stanford. I knew he had received training which was linked to Stanford and I know he is putting a lot of time into CPPS at the moment, I am in touch with some of his patients who have been informing me of his work.
