I wasted years of my life convinced that there was something very wrong with my penis. It was very shrunk as you describe in the flaccid state, it has a slight bend when errect. I was constantly aware of it, hated undressing in front of anyone and truely believed that it would never be normal. For a...

Very interesting post MC. I just recently bought a dvd on Qi Gong which I have been trying to follow but it didn't go into the specifics of the breathing tecnique, so thanks for the good description. It is also good to have it more focussed on the pevlic area, I will definitely be giving this a try....

Hi Paso, I know what you mean about being scared of the diagnoses. The worst thing for me about this condition is the anxiety/depression and general fear of dying that it has instilled in me. I don't exactly conform to the general group of symptoms that most on this board seem to have. I have cloudy...

Just relax and enjoy it. I did a 4 day scuba diving course in the dominican republic earlier this year and I didn't wear a wetsuit or anything and the cool water did no harm. In fact my pain just about disappeared for the duration of my holiday. I think the swimming really helped - similar to the su...

Totally agree Superhero. I've read the Sarno book and it does make interesting reading although I thought it was a little light on practical advice on how to get rid of the tension. Doctor's will never get anywhere with prostatitis until there is a paradigm shift towards accepting the mind-body conn...

Definitely get the penis inside me thing - one of the worst symptoms for me 'cause while I can do a good job of hiding pain and anxiety this one has caused me no end of embarrassment in the locker room. I think I probably had this before I got any pain though and I wonder if it is more of a cause of...

I also score high on this list of characteristics - 3,5,7,9

I think 3 and 9 are the biggest factors/causes of my pelvic pain, and while I see anxiety being dicussed here often, it has surprised me how little shy bladder syndrome has been mentioned.......until now, 4 in a row!

I was never an Eric Peterman sceptic, quite the opposite in fact, and I followed his protocol to the letter. For six weeks I took 10 wob and 3 serrapeptase three times a day, always ensuring it was on an empty stomach and never eating until at least an hour afterwards. According to Eric himself I sh...

Wheat elimination

Hi All, Just wanted to report some success I've been having with cutting wheat out of my diet. I haven't been on what I would say is a gluten free diet, and I have cheated occasionally, but I have totally stopped taking the obvious wheat foods such as bread, pasta, cereals and pastries/cakes - all o...

Wobenzym update

Hi All, Just thought I should post an update when I saw Wobenzym being discussed again, because intially I did report positive findings. Ultimately I stopped taking them after six weeks or so, mainly because I went on holiday for two weeks and forgot to take them, but by that point I was starting to...

I personally completely agree with this hypothesis and have thought for a while that this kind of thing was going on with me. One example is that every now and then I talk about quitting my job and starting my own business and as soon as I get myself mentally to the point of accepting it and really ...

I get this which is probably my worst symptom. I get a mild burning feeling running down both thighs to just above the knee sometimes. However it originates from my inner legs, or adductors, as you describe - this is the sorest part where the burning feeling can be quite intense. I also find it's a ...

I personally spent 5 years getting it drummed into me that I had an infection deep in my body despite the fact that urine and ...
