I've really enjoyed reading your story, Sleeper! You have come along way and seem to be on the road to being over this condition. :)

Re: My Experience

Thanks for that link, webslave! That was very informative and I will be sure to bring it up with the Uro. It might be worth a shot since it was said it can help with pain. The only thing I really dont like about taking those, and I know this will seem kinda silly since I know it's harmless... but I ...

Re: My Experience

So Flomax and Alpha blocker is the same thing? Didn't know that. Like I said above I've never had a problem with urine retension or peeing at all. It's been perfectly normal so I dont see how that would help me out at all. My main issue right now is just pain and discomfort. Back in March when I fir...

Re: My Experience

Also, you mentioned Flomax, the crappy Uro I went to see suggested that for me as well but I've never ever had any issue with going to pee, so I dont think thats needed in my case.

Alpha blocker? What is that and what does it do?

Re: My Experience

Thanks, Webslave! Yeah, I think I'm past Antibiotics now. At this point I'm willing to do any test at this point that might help figure it out because they havent DONE ANY on me. The only tests I've had done we're 1 simple unrine test and 2 DRE. So more tests would be nice, if only to rule out stuff...

Re: My Experience

Ok, so my Urologist appointment is on Monday and I have a little list of things I want to ask and even wrote down some of my symptoms for him so we can talk about them. I was wondering if you guys could think of any thing that I should ask him that might be of benefit since I know you have been thro...

Re: Webslave, guys.. pls have the time to read my story

Hey carb! Glad to hear you're feeling a lot better and I hope it stays that way and also hope you get to 100%. The NP I saw when this all started thought I might have a Kidney stone too but never got tested for that, in fact I haven't got ANY tests other than the standard pee test. :( I feel a new U...

Re: Suffering

You took the words right out of my mouth!

I've noticed the same thing. I've had my mind on other stuff the past few weeks and I was completely symptom free during that time but the past 3 days have been unbearably stressful and I'm starting to feel its creeping back. :sad2:

Re: My Experience

Well I now have an appointment with another Urologist. I've looked him up and from what I have seen most people like him and gave him good reviews and say he actually listens and tries to help as best he can.. Good news, I think.. He also seems to be a "newer" Urologist. Says he has about 9 years Ex...

From what I've read around the Net from others, it seem that erection problems can be common with this condition.

Re: New here - My Story, Desperate for Help.

Hey webslave, I'm curious. Since you've cured yourself and its been so long ago, have you ever had any flares? Even teeny tiny ones? And do you still take any supplments for it to this day?

Re: New here - My Story, Desperate for Help.

Webslave has given you some great advice and facts! You can beat this, same goes for me, it will just take some time..

Having recently developed this condition also means we can fight it early on and get rid of it faster, at least that's what I think.

I also have an increase in pre-cum. Any explanation ws?
That's really strange because I've noticed the same thing.

As far as I can remember I never use to really have much but since this all started I've been seeing it a lot more than usual.

Re: Pollen Extract supported

It's Bee Pollen right? Cause I've seen all kinds of different kinds. Bee Pollen, Flower Pollen Extract, etc.. Confusing. Which one is the one to look for is what I'm trying to ask.

Re: New here - My Story, Desperate for Help.

Hey PleaseHelp! The word Chronic scared me too. Forever means forever, but like Webslave said, chronic just means it lasts awhile and judging from what I've read around the web and what others have told me, you can get over this. It will just take a while. Months.. maybe even a couple years but you ...
