Re: the Tapes

I still have less than half of the Relaxation tapes from the WA New York Paradoxical Relaxation session in August 2003, which was a wonderful session and, to my knowledge, the only sessions not held in the bay area. The other cassettes have broken or faded from use. I called and asked for a replacem...

Re: Sex vs Masturbation

Masturbation is just bad for a male's body and it irks me when I see the prevailing medical literature which states that it is just fine. It is too easy for it to become a compulsive behaviour and it leads to Premature Ejaculation. There is also good reason to believe that it throws off chemical bal...

Re: chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) - chlorinated pools

As a teen I swam competition in stunningly heavily chlorinated pools. I would stink of chlorine constantly. Overlaps with the times that CFS symptoms would happen. What is the connection?

Re: Woes of a Prostatitis Newbie

I completely agree with Web Slave's last statement. I am old enough to have seen many persons who have been forced to deal with all manner of afflictions. How they deal with it is the measure of their life.

YOGA

I agree that Yoga is right for this condition. It is also empowering as it is something you can completely control.

Re: Suffering for 25 years and have questions...

Hey Rev, I am almost your age and I have wrestled with this condition as long as you have, so I empathise with your frustration. I understand the desperation which might push you to take a drastic measure like surgery. Still you are young to have such drastic surgeries. If you have USN coverage you ...

Re: Phoenix, AZ PT recommendations?

http://www.heschinstitute.org/ I have spoken to Jerry Hesch about this topic and reveiwed his published research and he seems to know his stuff. I have not been treated by him but I'd love for him to take a look at me when I am in Las Vegas. He is very into the whole body structure concept. He has b...

Adrenocortical Hormone Abnormalities

This is an excellent thread. HPA Axis variations and the related variations in dopamine are real, relevant, and usually not acknowledged or addressed.

Re: working

I lived through many bad years and I always worked. This seems to have been a net positive. It kept my mind busy and forced a focus outside myself. I lived in New York and every day outside I came across someone who had it as hard or harder than me. The money made it possible to experiment with trea...

Re: Do trigger points have to refer pain?

Perhaps some insight which I give may be of help. There are certainly persons whose anxiety or depression are rooted in unstable dopamine or brain chemical levels. The challenge in treating these issues with anti depressants is that the foundation levels are changeable so post medicine levels will a...

Tim

Consider yourself fortunate to be able to consult with Tim. From all that I hear he is among the best at this. He is certainly better than many of the PT's offering PT for pelvic issues. Make the most of it.
