Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Thanks for the detailed response webslave, that all makes a lot of sense. I guess I need to start focusing on my life again instead of constantly assessing my CPPS looking for any change. Perhaps I will take some time away from the forum to help with that. Thanks again, I'll be back in time with an ...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Thanks for the reply webslave. Bill Taylor is my current PT, I know you have reservations about him but I don't think he's avoiding any areas or has problems with reaching. He has previously identified numerous trigger points in the levator ani at either 11 or 1 o'clock, and they have caused a lot o...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Thanks webslave, I spoke to my PT about it and he explained the difference between the vertical clock-face and the horizontal clock-face. For simplicity he suggests I stick with using the 'vertical' clock for self-internal work. I'm continuing with the treatments I've mentioned above but a few quest...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Thanks for the replies everybody. Lux: Interesting what you say about Bill, I've seen him twice and plan to a couple more times before relocating to the states (this was meant to happen a couple of weeks ago, but had to be postponed due to my Dad falling ill). During the sessions we've had, he's spe...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

I met with Bill Taylor at the weekend and it was a really encouraging meeting. Externally, he found very sore points in my left groin and right abdomen. Internally, he found several very sore points generally between 11 and 3 on the 'clock face'. He worked all of these points until they felt a lot m...

Re: Question regarding the therawand

An alternative was recently recommended to me, the EZmagic which is made by IC Relief. It's made from borosilicate glass as opposed to plastic, and so doesn't 'break down' from repeated cleaning which apparently the therawand has issues with. It can also be heated or cooled before use, depending on ...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Thanks webslave, as I originally understood. I was definitely guilty of believing what I read without giving due attention to the reliability of the source. I've searched as you suggested and have found numerous posts from forum members for whom this has been a symptom. I notice that a few former me...

Re: My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Webslave (or anybody else who feels they can help), I have read that a red and inflamed penis tip may not be associated to CPPS, yet this is one of my primary symptoms and goes hand in hand with when I experience pain. Is this symptom something you would associate with CPPS, or are there any other d...

Thanks for the input webslave. I'll follow your advice and also look forward to getting A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS this week to follow their protocol as much as possible. I'll keep this thread updated with my progress.

My story 6 months in - input appreciated

Hello all, I’m a 23 year old from the UK who lives a very fit and active lifestyle. Here’s my story so far, given as a timeline of events: 1. At the end of January this year I got a urinary infection, which then developed to epididymo-orchitis. I was given a 10 day course of Cipro by my GP. 2. My sy...
