Re: Anxiety discussion

I am suffering from these mind blowing panic attacks mostly in the morning. I do not want to keep popping valium. I know that is not the answer. I am on Lexapro. And nothing else. I try to settle my breathing -- but the pain in the perineum is virtually always present. I get the anxiety-pain connect...

Re: Experience of a UK newbie

I am six months on. I would say I had frequency early on. But I can go through the night and pee once or no times. Also no burning. I am going to a trained internal PT person. So the hope is that could resolve the golf ball sensation? Is that a symptom that is purely muscular in your opinion?

Re: Experience of a UK newbie

Webslave -- why would it be that I have no urinary symptoms -- only perineal pain ? Is there a physiological reason for that in the pelvic floor? I also have not penis pain. Occasionally the perineal pain will radiate into the scrotum on extended sitting ...

Re: Intense lower abdomen spasm

Ok I just had my first extensive internal PT with a trained physical therapist at Core Physical Therapy in Malden, Massachusetts. Feel a little looser, I suppose. Trying to take action. Two more appointments next week.

Re: Intense lower abdomen spasm

Is there a specific stretch or trigger point internal or external that relieves the golf ball sensation. This is my primary point of pain. I don't have urgency issues.

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

Also -- and sorry for the TMI -- but I just have watery BMs all day long. Probably 7 or eight of them today alone. Yes, I've been on Bactrim post cyst removal, but this has happened since I took longer courses of Cipro and Bactrim earlier on. My gut is thrashed. I eat fairly well -- but constant dia...

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

I have to take more time off from work. I am in agony and flaring constantly. In my car. At my desk. It's all in the perineum. When I sleep it goes away but kicks in. I chew a lot of nicotine gum. Could this be an irritant?

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

Webslave, why am I essentially in a constant flare state. I just had one this afternoon during which I could hardly breathe. Then it just passes. The anxiety ramps up with the flare...and I am in AGONY. All of it centered in the perineum. No burning urination. No penile shaft pain. Just in the perin...
