Re: Stopping pelvic floor therapy and stretching actually made things better...

Hi: yes I’ve tried Elavil. I’ve gone up to 50mg and it never did anything significant for the pain, but it’s a worth a shot. It’s a very old and safe drug, my mom has been on 100mg for decades with no issues.

Thanks for your comments! I believe you are on the right track with meditation, which will help shut off your anxious brain for a while and the effects are cumulative. Keep up the good work.

Re: Stopping pelvic floor therapy and stretching actually made things better...

Hi there: I always have significant anxiety. I've been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and probably most significant, obsessive-compulsive disorder (the nastiest of all of those IMO...) I also have the classic "Sarno" personality: extreme people-pleaser, perfect...

Checking in — Prosta-Q

Hi guys: It's been a while since I've checked in, about 6 months. I can gladly report that I no longer have pain during ejaculation. The only "cure" appeared to be Prosta Q. I've been taking that daily for the past 6 months, often twice a day but at least once. I cannot say with certainty that it's ...

Re: Overdue Check In With A Good Amount of Success

That’s great Major, congratulations. Still struggling a bit myself. I get testicular pain 1-2 times a week, so my work is not done.

Re: Overdue Check In With A Good Amount of Success

Glad you're doing well Major. Ever since I've started Prosta Q (been on it for months now) I have not had a single episode of pain during ejaculation. Have you tried it?

Re: Mystery of ejaculation pain

May have to try that. I do know that Caedar had some success with bulbo trigger points by using a strumming massage technique.

Re: Mystery of ejaculation pain

Hi guys: Been a while since I've updated my condition. I've been on a combination of Prosta Q (two pills a day) and Elavil (25mg a day) for about a month now and that has knocked out my daily testicular pain. Haven't had that pain for about 3 weeks and earlier this year I had it daily, pretty much a...

Re: Overdue Check In With A Good Amount of Success

Hi Major: Glad you are getting some insight into things. I've found that Dr. Jeffrey Thompson's stuff is great for calming down that overactive SNS (I have that too!). I listen to his Alpha Relaxation system almost nighty, very calming. For the anxiety stuff, look into Dr. Albert Ellis and his ratio...

Re: Overdue Check In With A Good Amount of Success

Hi Major: I'm in the same boat. Just went back to work and testicular pain has been through the roof ever since. Trying to focus on Alan Gordon's teachings about not reinforcing the pain with fear and attention but when 99% of your waking thoughts are about the pain it's nearly impossible to find pe...

Re: Mystery of ejaculation pain

Thanks guys: I was on Wellbutrin for a long time (4 years) and if I recall correctly when I was on it I did not have ejaculation pain. Now who knows if the Wellbutrin helped, but there a few things to consider. I saw a discussion on this message board from one of the Urologist posters that Wellbutri...

Re: Mystery of ejaculation pain

Carb, I totally agree with you that the pudendal nerve entrapment theory is total nonsense. I have read Ezer's story and even tried to apply his concepts about feeling one's feelings, however, with little success. I know Ezer tried the Sarno stuff and it didn't work for him, same with me, did nothin...

Re: Tramadol 100mg ER

Thanks for the feedback Webslave, but how would one explain my ejaculation pain with any logic? Sometimes when I ejaculate it feels absolutely normal, like there's never been anything wrong with me. And other times, often within 24 hours, the experience is completely different, I get terrible pain b...
