Re: Where each trigger points refer

I have found some in ischiocavernosus, in the deep layers. But I am very careful not to press on pudendal nerve. Basically, trigger points in ischiocavernosus and bulbocavernosus are extremely difficult to treat.

Re: How I'm beating this.

I have read your discussion with a lot of empathy. My problems started similarly, after vigorous sex/masturbation, the pain appeared 24-48 hours later and stayed for a week before it subsided completely. Last 5 years I am struggling with constant pain/discomfort in the pubic area, penile are, groin ...

Re: Odd glans penis pain/ CPPS? (Alphalifestyle)

I feel a lot of empathy for you, because I am partially struggling with similar conditions, mainly the general allodynia. The problem is that, there must be some underlying trigger points which are the "mothers of all trigger points", my problems started in that way that a day or two after prolonged...

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

MajorSky1, I am in pretty similar state of mind like you, I can exactly imagine how you feel. I am struggling with this condition more than 5 years, and it is costly...I can tell you. But last two years, there were let s say 5 or so windows of improvement, lasting 6-8 weeks, which gave me a lot of h...

Re: 6 years with CPPS

Time to update my case: I had very good almost two months (mid June-mid August), the June-flare up calmed down, I had long holiday, a lot of relaxing, a lot of swimming in the sea and generally good times. Pain somehow subsided, or was transformed to low level pain/discomfort. I felt distracted away...

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

I think that both of us do have some issues with pudendal nerve. It does not mean that we have true entrapment, but it means that pudendal nerve is one of the main culprit. I am also leaning to the hypothesis, that my pain is mainly from nerve origin - the flare ups were really tough to cope with......

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

My problems started in 2009-2010 as post-ejaculatory pain, always next day after ejaculation, sometimes even later 24-48 hours. This pattern repeated itself always maybe 10-15 times ... in between no pain, but my pelvis felt fragile. I was diagnosed as prostatitis, later non-bacterial prostatitis, p...

Re: My story of the road to CPPS - MajorSky

MajorSky my pain (at least most of my pain) is exactly in same location - right ischiocavernous muscle, radiating to penis and groin area, I am struggling with this pain more than 5 years...I have had very good 7 weeks, but now I am struggling again. Ischiocavernosus is very difficult to treat, beca...

Re: 6 years with CPPS

Thank you webslave for your insights. Basically I agree with your points, maybe with exception of 8, my pain suggests, that mainly the right pudendal nerve is heavily dominating in my pain picture. Pain goes from penile shaft along the pubic bone deep inside and now has typical neuropathic quality -...

Re: The Coming Debate Over Treatment

Interesting reading, I can agree with most of the texts above. CPPS is clearly multidimensional enemy with various clinical manifestations and diffuse clinical pictures. Exactly this diffuse nature is what is making a kind of distrust between the doctor (mainly urologist) and the patient..helplessne...

Re: TrP injections or dry needling

I have also pretty good experience with Dry needling. It requires experienced PT, but works...He also said that he has heard about somebody daring to apply Dry needling to internal muscles, or bulbospongiousus, but he was rather reluctant to do that. Anyhow, Dry needling applied to rectus abdominis ...

Re: 6 years with CPPS

I am adding couple of remarks to my case: Struggling with flare-up, I try to sort out what was the initial symptoms and what helped back in the 2009, when my problems started. I erroneously thought that this is some inflammation of prostate or epididymis or something like that...My pain started 2 da...

Re: Help solving testicular pain puzzle

MajorSky1, the place where you feel this post-ejaculatory pain is almost identical to mine...this is the spot which was painful in the beginning, now my whole pelvis hurts...The spot is, base of the penis, more right then left, below the pubic bone, somewhere where penis is attached to body. I think...

Re: Post-ejaculation pain

Guys, I am in the same boat, as I wrote in another thread. Ejaculation as the most prominent trigger of pain, lasting several days (sometimes 2 weeks..) Horrible feeling. That was also the first initial trigger which started my pain - day after ejaculation I started to have pretty horrible pain in t...

Re: Help solving testicular pain puzzle

I feel empathy for you, MajorSky...My most prominent trigger of pain is also ejaculation, so I try to be very careful with that. Pain is culminating 2-3 days after ejaculation and last 10-12 days..Horrible feelings. My explanation is that in case of thrashed, dysfunctional and weakened pelvic floor,...
