Re: 4 years of fighting, changes and hope

Gran Torino, I see many parallels between your and my situation, also struggling approximately 6-7 years with CPPS. I agree with everything you wrote, this long antibiotics treatment are completely useless in cases like yours or mine. I also felt from the beginning, that there is some kind of "pelvi...

Re: Webslave, guys.. pls have the time to read my story

Carbonevo, thanks for the reply, I would be glad if you can share this contact in Bratislava (my home city), I was not able to find anybody qualified, all those PT were the classical PT without special knowledge of pelvis. This guy in Brno is highly recommendable, I am visiting him once monthly. I w...

Re: Webslave, guys.. pls have the time to read my story

Buddy, I am in the same boat like you (even more I am from same country)...Here are my remarks: I think it is clear that your condition is neuromuscular (maybe psychoneuromuscular is even more precise). Spasm, trigger point, subsequent neurogenic inflammation and anxiety related perception are the k...

Re: jg6075's Case/Rambling Story

Walking and swimming are generally the most beneficial activities, at least according to my experiences. They are even safer than some PT action, e.g. squats might be dangerous, despite they are both in Amy Stein book as well as in Headache in the pelvis. I am also struggling with flare-ups and some...

Re: 6 years with CPPS

Webslave, I know what you mean and basically agree. It is rather general severe case of pelvic myoneuropathy than PNE. Time to small update: I am still struggling. Recent worsening was a major setback for me because winter was quite promising and I had some very good days/week. Last 2-3 weeks my con...

Re: My one year anniversary

Pretty complex case with lots of symptoms, but I thinks you are still within the framework of pelvic myoneuropathy. We all know this "raw" feeling inside pelvis which is almost always there. Regarding "no trigger points" - there are still many hardly recognizable. The problem is that some are so dee...

Re: Odd glans penis pain/ CPPS? (Alphalifestyle)

Hallo Carbonevo, I would not like to share the names directly (because of spamming robots), but the one doctor is under http://www.naprapathy.cz (Brno) and the other one is http://www.suchajehla.cz (Sumperk). Both are very knowledgeable and helped me a lot.

Re: Perineum muscles picture/question.

I think this is the typical spot of pain for CPPS sufferers, there is a junction of several muscles and this area is highly prone for forming painful knots...

Re: Odd glans penis pain/ CPPS? (Alphalifestyle)

Hallo Alphalifestyle, yes I am from Europe (Slovakia). I found two very good PT in Czech republic, I am going to one of them approximately once in a month, it is cca 1.5 hours driving from my town. He essentially helped me, especially trigger points in the levator ani, pubococcygeus etc. However I a...

Re: Odd glans penis pain/ CPPS? (Alphalifestyle)

90% of the time I accept now, that I have a very frustrating, but not dangerous condition. Basically a chronic cramp / tension of the pelvic floor and related muscles, which creates inflammation and dysfunction in my urogenital organs and pain and discomfort in related tissue. This was probably cau...

Re: A Unique Story, My 4-Year Experience

I would also like to know Caedar´s opinion, he is highly qualified in this field and his (previous) condition is similar like mine. As far as I know, the mainstream opinion in the discussion of post-ejaculatory pain was that there are two main culprits: Trigger points in the bulbocavernosus and isch...

Re: A Unique Story, My 4-Year Experience

I was one month on Atarax (around Christmas) and I got the feeling that it somehow helped, pain was transformed to ache...and I was feeling better, little bit sleepy but definitely better. Now I am worse now, I will probably get back to Atarax and Elavil. Tough times ahead of me.

Re: Odd glans penis pain/ CPPS? (Alphalifestyle)

I also think that antibiotics are useless in your case. The overall picture of inflammation burning pain and the worsening after sex (which I know very well) points toward classic myoneuropathic background - muscles, nerve, tendons and ligament play altogether in this havoc... Try to relax, try to r...

Re: A Unique Story, My 4-Year Experience

Hi chb81, you are quite lucky having long periods completely without pain. This is the situation which many of us are dreaming of. I had it also in 2009-2010 period, when 2-3 weeks with pain were interchanging with periods without pain. And I exactly remember that strange feeling that I am without a...
