Questioning Quercetin

Webslave, Thanks, yeah, I could stop the MMO thing, and have no symptoms. But that is the absolute last resort. I'd like to know more about the figure you site that >70% of men with CPPS are helped by quercetin. Is that from this paper: http://www.farrlabs.com/article-quercetin-prostaq/ Can you poin...

Re: Flares day after sex & my first post

OK, thanks guys! My instinct is to stay the course with PT + valium suppositories for the rest of the 30 day supply, to avoid changing too many variables at once, and see if I have signs of improvement. After that I'll give Q a try. I guess the word is three months, which seems like a reasonable tri...

Re: Flares day after sex & my first post

webslave, thanks.

Given my description of my symptoms, does anybody have any clues about if Prosta-Q or quercetin is relevant to me?

I could not really find any threads which directly addressed it for somebody who seems to have neuromuscular issues.

Thanks,
Optimistic

Re: Flares day after sex & my first post

Ok, thanks. I'll endeavor to learn more about central sensitization, hyperalgesia and allodynia. On a separate note, can you explain why (it seems) you moved my post about fascia causing a burning pain into this topic? (or did I somehow do that by accident?) I had posted it separately intentionally,...

pain in the fascia - a burning feeling

Hi again men, I recently learned something interesting. As described in my last post, I have been getting internal PT for a few months, once a week. During a flare, the PT is quite painful, and feels like the PT is digging a fingernail into abraded skin. I was at my GI doc the other day and asked hi...

Flares day after sex & my first post

Hi! And thanks everybody for trying to share in helping us all. As u can see from my signature I am a long time sufferer of CPPS (15 years). It all started with acute epididymitis and was made worse with a few acute UTI's. Fast forward. I can remain pain free for as long as I want (sorry to those br...
