Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

I also bought the Isa Herrera book and have just finished reading it. I was thinking of trying her program myself and was wondering if anyone has had any success with it? Hello there! I recently typed in the name of the book and found someone who said they were recovered from using her protocol. I ...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

I also had CFS; the fact that you have CFS is an indicator that you are not infected. CFS is a comorbid condition, more or less, with CP/CPPS. On that basis alone I would bypass any further microbiological testing. That's interesting! To be fair the fatigue came clearly with the severe medication r...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Do you recommend any particular wand? No, some people like the Theracane, others the crystal wand. They are not too pricey; try them both maybe? Hi webslave. If I'm honest that experience with Karl took the wind out of my sails with treating my condition. I have the book 'Ending Male Pelvic Pain' b...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Thanks a lot webslave! Really appreciate your input. Do you recommend any particular wand? Don't get me wrong about Karl, he does seem to have some insight into this condition and some useful recommendations about behaviour patterns that may exacerbate symptoms, and I'm going to continue his stretch...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

I'm not a fan of reverse kegels, which involve tensing the stomach muscles. Surprising he cannot access the front of the levator ani muscles ... makes me think he is not the real deal. Yeah he kind of made out like it can't be done I think. The other thing that put me off this time - Karl rents an ...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Changes in appearance of the penis is usually caused by nerves. An example of how nerves can influence the appearance of skin is the disorder Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), which is also called reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS). See some images of how nerves can change the appear...

Carbonevo you are basically right that psychological background/anxiety If you're concerned about anxiety, I recently found a thread about a guy who managed to get his severe anxiety under control with supplements: http://forums.phoenixrising.me/index.php?threads/completely-eliminated-my-severe-anx...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

European, sorry to hear of your struggles with CPPS. I don't think kegeling caused my problems, I think it was the initial, acute infection imo. But I don't think my habits have helped me.

Have you tried internal work/the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol?

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Changes in appearance of the penis is usually caused by nerves. Thanks for the response webslave, definitely makes a lot of sense. The pelvic pain specialist I saw years ago did say that nerves were likely responsible for my symptoms but said the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol was 'outdated'. I th...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Probably from Cowper's glands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-ejaculate Another thing that came to mind - at the start of all this I had huge issues with dryness all over my penis, do you have any thoughts about that? It definitely coincided with getting prostatitis, and the skin on my penis had ...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Probably from Cowper's glands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-ejaculate I strongly believe it's urine, for one it seems to happen more often when my bladder's full and this may be TMI, but I get a lot of precum (from cowper's gland) when aroused, it's nothing like the very watery (and not sticky)...

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Another strange thing that's happened to me a number of times including today - I sometimes seem to shoot out urine while masturbating. This never happened to me before prostatitis and is only a recent thing in the last 6 months or so. It happens long before I ejaculate, and basically some watery li...
