recommended cushion..

Can someone recommend a pelvis friendly cushion to sit on?
I've been searching around the net and have found one that relieves the coccyx and another which relieves the ischial tuberosities(?). Which one is the best?

I'm not talking heavy excercises here like squats, deadlifts or bridges, but what I need to do(and probably a lot of us) is to reactivate the deep abdominal muscles. Like this(taken from John stone fitness forum): "TA/MF Activation 1. Lie on your back with your legs/hips bent at a 45 degree angle. Y...

You should get your physio to check your pelvic alignment
Ok thanks I will do that. Haven't been there for some months now so I'd better go there and have her check me out

Yeah but I feel that I have come to a point where I need to do something more than relaxing and treating trigger points(which I have done for about a year but they keep coming back). I really think that I need to strengthen my core muscles because I feel very unstable when I walk for example. Feels ...

Core-training!!

My PT told some time ago that my problems could be due to a weak transversus abdominis(the deeper stomach and back muscles used to keep the spine neutral ), and I'm really starting to believe her. During my early teens I did a lot of cruches and situps(which trains only the outer abdominals), and th...

Use your thumb..

I use my thumb to massage the muscle just inside my rectum and this works great! I found this a lot easier and more effective than using my finger.

Exactly what test was performed, and when?
It was just a simple bloodtest...and it was 1 year ago. I've had this for over 8 years now

I've been drinking about 6-10 beers every weekend since I was 15 and I always felt worse the day after. Is it really the wheat in the beer that causes this and not the alcohol itself? or yeast? Which alcoholic drinks does not contain wheat and/or yeast? I love beer and would be hard to stop drinking...

My physio told me the same thing.....to strenghten my deep abdomen muscle(transversus abdominis) but she didn't tell to contract my pelvic floor at the same time. This muscle was extremely hard to activate at first because my body had "forgotten" it.

This is completely normal. There is a gland(cowpers gland I think its called) that produces o clear transparent fluid when one gets sexually excited. I't the body's own "lubricant" . nothing to worry about :-)

I heard the other day that at "Karolinska Sjukhuset" in Stockholm" they have started a PT (internal and external) treatment plan. Might be worth looking into. It is being administrated through "Uroterapienheten"
This sounds extremely interesting! Keep us updated on this please..
