Re: Data

Haha.. programmers. :)

I used to program, how do you do it in a busy loud office? You don't - its extremely frustrating to be interrupted and I find it adds to my stress.

I started to work at night, when there is no one around to bother me.

Re: How many people here had Panic Attacks before CPPS?

In my case I had a "secret" and repressed my emotions - what caused me a big distress, and maybe eventually led to that syndrome. Same here... I am unable to talk to someone I really trust about a private concern, or if you wish "secret". It has emotionally made me crazy inside, and I am hoping aft...

Re: Prosta-Q & Q-Urol

Skypro - Out of curiosity... When did you develop CPPS?

You mentioned you are on Valtrex, which is a treatment for Herpes/Shingles.

Do you find that there is any sort of connection between the virus and CPPS? Your opinion.

Re: Xatral Failed - Should I try another?

Rapaflo is OK combined with Elavil. It's 8mg, compared to the other higher dosage of 10mg Alpha Blockers. It has some negative side effects such as retrograde ejaculation (Don't be scared of this, at first I couldn't believe that when I had an ejaculation nothing came out, but it's not a big deal - ...

Lots of relief for me! Trying out supplements.

Hey Guys, I wanted to share with you some interesting points about me. I know that this may be overkill or whatever, and I know that their may be some sort of Placebo effect, however, I must tell you all how I feel as of now. Two weeks ago, I received my free trial of Prosta-Q. I have been taking Q-...

Re: PainShield "Reduces Pelvic and Bladder Pain"

I used such a thing at a therapists office, Can't really tell you if it helps because I only received it twice. Usually after a visit to the PT I was better the next day, but obviously it could have been anything that I did while I was there.. I'd be willing to buy one if I could, and give my result...

Re: Prosta-Q & Q-Urol

Totally understand! I actually emailed the company and told them about that. Have you tried getting a pill cutter? You can get one from any pharmacy. Honestly, I think you should try it, it would be a great deal of help as a lot of people say that Q-Urol really helps them. I've started to take mine ...

Re: Seeing a new Urologist - Any advice?

Its either the rapaflo or Elavil, but it helps a lot. At the end of the day I would have so much pressure in my rectum it was unbearable.. at least now I have days I go without pressure until 8pm. Even then its a dull ache, but it helps for me. They have a free/cheap trial for it. Its an expensive d...

Has anyone mixed Elavil & Valium?

Can you do that?

On bad days, I want to try and do that. Like on Mondays, where I know ill be stressing and sitting a lot, i would want to try a small amount. Elavil honestly does not make me tired, in fact I don't see any side effects from it either.

Re: Seeing a new Urologist - Any advice?

What city are you in?

Have you tried to take any other meds, like Elavil or Hytrin? There is a new med out called Rapaflo - which i am on now, it's an alternative to Hytrin (Terazosin)

Re: Anodyne therapy

I tried it at my PT, she wrapped the machine into plastic wrap, and put it on my rectum.. beeped a few times and I was done. Honestly, its worth giving it a shot because I did feel better after the PT most of the time, but I don't know if that was because of the actual therapy, or her having her fin...
