Re: General Question

Jbrooks, I can relate on some levels. I'm the only lawyer in house for a company, General Counsel. I enjoy it, but it can be stressful out on my own little island. I saw 2 PTs and BOTH said I dont have trigger points, and nothing they did was particularly painful. I saw Tim at the clinic and within ...

Re: Spasm at bladder neck, prostate area

Mine will "Clamp" or spasm upon first trying to piss when my levator ani (posterior) are tight. If I just relax and get in there with some lube, it releases and I pee normal. My trick now is getting these to stop tightening. Right now its do PT, three days later, it tightens (but not even close to t...

Potential Help for Men with low libido/ED

Hey fellas, I still see a lot of men complaining of low libido and ED. Although I've never had this issue through my time with this I can certainly sympathize. One thing I see a lot of is men saying their little soldier won't salute in the morning. As a bodybuilder I know quite a bit about hormones ...

Re: Cost of PT... What are people paying

I went to the Stanford Clinic, and now do my own work. I feel I can do it better than any PT, aside from Tim himself. I have a map of the areas and know my body best.

So initial outlay of 5,000, but havent spent a dime on it since.

Re: Starting to second gues what I have

I was gonna just say isn't IC characterized by an inflamed bladder and inflamed urethra, if you have neither not sure how youd have IC, but I'm not that familiar with IC. I bet Kevin would have some thoughts on this.

Re: All of you who get relief from perineum pain with hot bath

Man I have to think, that its impossible to put that on the perineum without getting on the scrotum, and I've had that crap on my scrotum before when I had minor groin pulls and used IcyHot to dull the pain while I played on the injury, that burns like crazy. But, if it works for you, good for you. Ss

Re: Running

diminishing returns for me from running. If I run for say 20 mins moderately, maybe at 6 on a treadmill, it doesnt seem to make me worse and sometimes it makes me a bit better. However, playing a full soccer game where I sprint, jog, challenge for the ball etc., like clockwork with about 20 mins lef...

Re: Happy New Year - Resolutions for 2008

Just celebrating I've been 4 straight days on the treadmill and even though I don't feel BETTER (like I want to) - I'm pleased that I've been working out. Still being hopeful, but kind of emotionally low right now. I'm headed to bed because I know that the rest will do me good. Hope the rest of you...

Re: Happy New Year - Resolutions for 2008

My resolutions: 1) stay active in my work. Although I enjoy it, its not really my passion, like my boss, our CEO. To implement this I turn my computer on now every morning while preparing my breakfast and check email at 7AM, respond, etc., at the very least it shows I'm up and thinking about work. 2...

Re: Experience with the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol

sorry, moving quickly today, swamped at work. But, it helped me a ton. I am still working on it, but I get better month by month, its just slow. But, I am back to weight training and doing things I like with less pain and irritation. Drink coffee daily, tons of tea, can drink with no problem. Just h...

Re: Tug in my right testicle when bending

Definitely muscular, you were stretching tight muscles, we are usually not loose right out of bed, and bingo the symptoms. You definitely need to be doing your stretches, sounds like you need to be working out your hip flexors, doing the squat stretch and attending to your hamstrings. Take care, Jason

Re: New Study on Pelvic Tenderness

well damn, I surely fall in the tenderness area, and its quite tender. Thats my worst symptom, and the tenderness leads to stiffness, ie the floor won't always drop when I first try to piss, thereafter it does, and pee fine. Somedays it falls right away, stiffness is a bitch right now. Sometimes I t...

Re: anyone tried the replacement for donut cushion

I ordered it, doesnt work for me. I need something that is harder and round, that one just allowed me to sink into it, which didn't keep any real pressure off the sore areas. I dont use one anymore, couldnt really find anything that worked well. I just sit upright, with most weight on my hamstrings,...
