Since I've had this condition, I've been urinating/dribbling a little while defecating, but it doesn't cause me much concern. I agree with webslave's comments in this thread.

At that point, I was unable to fully empty. For the next week straig...

Re: training PTs in trigger point/myofascial release

So my question is: provided that we find a willing PT, is there a possibility to make him trained by the SP people? Recently I've read that only Dr. Weiss is able to train PT's at the moment, so is his practice useful? I don't believe that Dr. Weiss practices the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol. Dr...

mbrsinc,

Have you tried Ultram for the pain? Some of our members have had success with that.

BTW, like Mark, I cannot tolerate Bactrim, NSAIDs, etc.

Pyridium may help a little with the burning, but I don't think it would kill your uro to prescribe a couple days worth of hydrocodone after performing such an invasive procedure as a cystoscopy.

Constipation is a common side effect of prednisone.

Re: Drinking Less

Since I've been plauged with urinary frequency, I know that I drink a lot less fluids. Anyone else here do the same? Absolutely, and I know that reducing my water intake reduces my urinary frequency significantly. Just be careful not to get too dehydrated. Also, drinking less water makes your urine...

Re: Turp, valium, constant urge to urinate

You're wondering whether the constant urge to urinate you experience could be a result of the surgery? Why did your uro perform the TURP in the first place?
