Celebrex is not an NSAID, one of its primary selling points is actually that it takes it easy on the stomach.

Damien 6- My main symptom is certainly soreness in the penis itself, it feels like a large aching bruise for 4-10 hours after, especially pronounced if I have an inadvertant erection during that time period (nocturnal erections are the worst for this and often wake me up), I have found this pain to ...

i also found it difficult to get a full stretch using the cobra, I have had much more success doing a version of the cobra standing- lock your hands over your head fully extended, with your feet shoulder length apart and bend backwards at the abs until you feel a good pull. I do 10-15 of these for f...

I'm not sure I understand the assumption that an inflamed prostate would obviously lead to dribbling, to me it seems to be explained much easier in connection with weak, spasming, or otherwise dsyfunctional muscles around the urethra/controlling urine flow. That being said one quick-fix is to place ...

varicose veins, thrombosis, cause of post-ejac. penile pain?

I read a recent post on here which tangentially discussed varicose veins and thrombosis, I realized that my worst pain after ejaculation (or extended arousal) which I associated with CPPS, seems to be of the sort of deep aching/heaviness/bruised soreness that is often associated with varicose veins/...

Just some advice on pursuing the 'inflamed prostate' theory... Urologists are often over eager to say you have an inflamed prostate when they don't know what else is wrong with you. That is not to say that you don't have an inflamed prostate, but I went to three urologists who all told me I had an i...

the fact that you can perform with a certain partner and not others makes me strongly think that it is for the most part mediated by your mental state. That isn't to say it is not also physical- for sure your mental state (anxious) can alter your physical state--can make you tense up, whatever. But ...

you may want to consider how when driving, an maybe even while being a passenger, you unconciously are tensing your pelvic floor and that is leading to your discomfort- I know in both situations I tense mine.

"finding myself impulsively doing the wrong things with very poor self control and intense regret afterwards. Every time I swore to myself "never again" but all my efforts and resolutions were to no avail. " It seems to me, that part of your problems lies in this fact- that you had feelings of guilt...

Paradoxical relaxation is a technique developed in the SP which most involves a heightened consciousness about ones pain and muscle tightness but not any attempts to directly alter it, as with traditional meditation of this sort which tells you to focus on your muscles and then focus on letting them...

lactose sensitivity question...

I seem to have a sensitivity to lactose (milk has always made me feel sick since I was a kid), but now I see more irregular bowel movements and stomach pains/flatulence with cheese, and other dairy products. My question is, is there anything other than a two week exclusion diet that can help me dete...

i find you can mimic the stretching of the pelvic muscles by doing the deep squat against a wall- have you back flat on a bed or on the ground and plant your feet on the wall in front of you as if you were sitting on in an imaginary chair that was glued to the side of the wall, by adjusting the tens...

you are probably just causing an involuntary contraction of the muscles around the bladder neck by pressing on them and they are squeezing a little extra urine out, this probably isn't a symptom of CPPS, lots of 'normal' men squeeze or shake to expel the last drops of urine. Obviously, I am not a do...

Isa treated me with the SP for around a year two years ago and made a big difference in my recovery, she was certainly physically competent and sympathetic to my needs as a CPPS sufferer and seemed to understand the pelvic myo-neuropathy theory well.
