TMJ

Hey guys, I have a sort of success story to mention. For the past two months I have had horrible daily, all day headaches. As you may have read, I have gone to the allergist, and the doctor, been on various medications for the face pain, sinus like pressure, pain in and around the eyes, bad headache...

Elimination questions

Webslave, I have a couple of questions. In the Brostoff book, he talks about eliminating what you normally eat to find the culprit, because those are usually what we are sensitive too. I have read through much of this forum, and I have seen many times where you did and didn't eat certain things over...

Re: Ultrasound Therapy

For what it is worth,

I only did ultrasound once and I did not see any good from it. It exacerbated my symptoms...for a few days maybe...regular TP was and has been the way to go for me

Soda

Hey guys, Obviously, caffeine causes a lot of problems for people with our condition, and with other conditions as well. All my life I have gotten headaches, and everything "dangerous" has been ruled out but a lot of times I get this dizzy headaches. Now, for years I have been told that caffeine hel...

Re: Prosta-Q or Q-Urol? which should I take?

Hi Che,

My understanding of it is that Q-Urol is more potent than Prosta-Q. It also contains an extra ingredient, Bee Pollen, which isn't found in Prosta-Q.

Hope that helps!

Re: Avoid situps at all costs

Hey guys, Wanted to give you some advice I received from my PT just this week. She was going over a video with me that showed how to do stretches and strengthening for the pelvic floor. One thing they taught got my attention. They said doing sit ups was bad for CPPS. Why? Because when you do a sit u...

Re: Anaphylaxis

Have you found anything in your research that could be a cause that isn't food or medicine related. The only new supplement recently was I was taking fish oil since monday a new type. Do you think cleaning in my office with a disinfectant spray and a decent amount of dust not well ventilated could h...

Re: Anaphylaxis

Yes, I am aware of that. The doctors said I had a "mild" reaction and to simply stay away from whatever it was. The question was, is there a relation with mast cells and my CPPS, as in are people with CPPS more like to have a response like this because of mast cell degranulation that occurs with thi...

Re: Anaphylaxis

Carl, Thanks for the response. See, I don't know about the gluten, like just today I had Chick fil a and I was fine. I have been tested for it (rather recently, and within the time I've had CPPS, and was negative on gluten) But I see that eggs can cause a lot of problems. The doctors still believe t...

Anaphylaxis

Hey guys, Yesterday, I had an anaphylactic response (Not shock) to something, either eaten or inhaled. I had worked with a lot of cleaning supplies at work in a non ventilated area, and then came home for lunch. The wife made me strawberry muffins, and egg whites. I ALWAYS eat egg whites, but have n...

Re: Define a flare-up

Jay, Thanks for writing back. Actually, I do really believe that this is a muscle problem, and that either stress and/or anxiety is the main culprit aiding in my tension. I just simply have a hard time describing the feeling. It's hard to share with your therapist what it feels like other than "it h...

Re: Urge/Frequency and Bowel Movements

CopperTop, Hey man! I get the frequency thing with bowel movement, but actually in the bowels. I think it is called like "wet-anus" or something like that. It is very weird. I think it has to do with TP's next to the anus but for serious, it's not fun. I have urinary frequency at times, and occasion...

Re: Define a flare-up

Hey guys, I wanted to ask you guys about internal treatments. A lot of people talk about the pain, and others talk about how good it feels to release the triggers. However, I wonder if any of you have the weird sensation just putting something up there. It feels incredibly uncomfortable. I can hardl...

Re: L- Theanine for anxiety

I have been trying L-Theanine for about 5 days now. How long would you say it takes to start seeing some results?

I am getting quite the great relaxing effect of from Phenibut, so I am hoping this will do so without the drowsy, as well.
