Re: Duro-med latex cushions - doesn't ship to Canada!

Any chance I could purchase one through your store - or do you not get to change the rules as to where products are shipped?

Duro-med latex cushions - doesn't ship to Canada!

Help! I want to order the 4" duro-med latex cushion but amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada! The Canadian version of the website doesn't have it, and I've been trying to find it at other websites to no avail. Can anyone help me with this?

Male external urethra diameter

One of the first urologists I visited a long time ago said that my external urethral orifice (opening) was too small and was causing backflow. I subsequently went to a number of other urologists and they said that it was fine. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the average size is (diameter) so...

Advice on how to 'calm down' after physical activity

I find that after working out, going for a run, or engaging in any sort of physical activity, my body doesn't feel like it calms down. It feels like it's still engaged in that activity even hours later. Not surprisingly, I find that this is often when I get a flare-up, probably because my body feels...

Re: Difference between urethral stricture and muscle tension

I thought I would mention also that I've had a 'urine flow test' done and they said there was 'no blockage'. Is this an indication that I don't have a urethral stricture? I've also had multiple ultrasounds, although I don't know if they would be able to see a stricture. Thanks in advance!

Re: Difference between urethral stricture and muscle tension

I never really have a problem starting to urinate, it's just that afterwords I don't feel fully relieved. Could this still be a sign of stricture? My understanding of it is that the urethra would be constricted, so starting to urinate would be difficult. If I'm not experiencing that, can I rule this...

Difference between urethral stricture and muscle tension

How does one tell the difference between a urethral stricture and muscle tension? The symptoms appear to be the same: urinary urgency, pain during/after urination, post-micturition 'drip', etc... Can someone tell me how you would be able to tell the difference? After I urinate, it always feels like ...

I think it was a urinary tract infection or something.

Re: Has anyone here ever gotten better without physical therapy?

You may get a remission. I have had a few one lasting 4 years and i was receiving no treatment. Being as young as you still are I'm sure you will benefit the majority of your life with the research now taking place and new treatments been considered. I don't know Graeme, I'd like to hope so. It's b...

Re: Has anyone here ever gotten better without physical therapy?

Webslave - A decade is a long time. I've already had these symptoms or variations of them since I was 13 years old. I'm now 21. I don't know if I am going to be able to manage even another year of this. I'm really tired of the pain. If there's one thing most of the people on these forums can be than...

Has anyone here ever gotten better without physical therapy?

Has anyone ever gotten completely better without physical therapy? The reason I ask is because the only person in my area is about 2 hours from where I live and it's expensive (I'm a student that can't afford it right now). I would love to go but the reasons mentioned before prevent me. Has anyone o...

Re: In quest of the perfect CPPS-friendly cushion

I have a question about the cutout - is it just supposed to be big enough for your perineum or is it supposed to be big enough so your testicles sort of fall into it? Like, approximately what are the dimensions of the hole you cut?

Erection and the pelvic floor

I've read that erection is caused by dilation of the arteries in the penis, and I haven't read anywhere that it has anything to do with the pelvic floor. I am curious then why it is that I feel like the muscles in my perineum tighten when I get an erection - does anyone else get this feeling and is ...

I have a couple of embarrassing questions to ask: 1. Does anyone here ever get a 'shrink' when defecating? Is this normal? 2. What is the best way to wipe after defecating to avoid a flareup? I find after I'm finished wiping, it has irritated me and the general area hurts/I can feel tension there fo...
