Trigger Point Website

I found this website with a trigger point guide on it, broken down by either muscle group or symptom. It seemed pretty good to me and may be help to others:

Re: Suffering

I asked Farr Labs about the difference and got this reply: Both Q-Urol and Prosta-Q are for your prostate health. Q-Urol takes Prosta-Q to the next level, with time release technology and even more anti-inflammatory activity. Q-Urol is another great natural option to effectively address the symptoms...

Re: A returnee - in need of some kind words

Have you seen a doctor, to rule out any medical problems like UTI? If so do like webslave suggested and start with abdominal breathing to try to calm things down a bit and lower your anxiety. Get back on the program of stretching you did before, you might not remember all of it but I'm sure there ar...

Re: Suffering

Hi Suffering, Good to hear you are feeling better, hopefully you can continue from here and make a full recovery. We have similar symptoms, and I'm basically doing most of the things on your list except the broccoli. I also have started taking Q-Urol, as it was too expensive to get Prosta-Q to Canad...

Re: Bladder pain (NathanP)

Not worrying about it is a big part of beating this horrible condition It's amazing how sometimes, when you are busy and your mind is preoccupied with other things, you can go hours without thinking about the pain and not notice it. Then all of a sudden you remember and the pain becomes a problem a...

Re: Bladder pain

Hi Nathan, Amazing story, I really feel for you! What happened that day was so avoidable, and it was shameful that those who were to blame had the temerity to point the finger at the supporters! The fact it took almost 30 years for an independent inquest to rule the 96 deaths were unlawful is a stai...

Re: jg6075's Case/Rambling Story

I notice my leg muscles (and some back muscles) get fatigued really easily. For example, I tried an elliptical out of curiosity and my calves were burning instantly It may just because you have been relatively physically inactive for a while. Some people have CPPS symptoms for years, that make it i...

Re: Bladder pain

I don't see any problem seeing both a PT and chiropractor. You should let both know about it though as they may contact each other and compare files, which could help you resolve this quicker. Stress can be a big factor, my old PT told me that males tend to tense up their abdominal, pelvic and glute...

Re: Considering a vasectomy and UCPPS

I had the snip last year, and the only real pain I had was because I didn't rest enough. After 10 days I felt fine and played a game of soccer, which set me back about 1 month. After that I was fine.

I had the scapel-less vasectomy, only took about 10 minutes and practically no pain during it.

Re: Meatus / Tip of Penis

but I am less clear about what causes the redness/inflamed look of the urethral opening and tip of penis. Can someone please walk me through how CPPS can cause the physical change I am seeing? It's because the brain thinks there is damage in the area, due to referred pain caused by nerves being irr...

Re: Prosta-Q & Q-Urol in Canada

Hi Northerner Did you manage to get some Prosta-Q? If so do you feel it has helped you? I'm in Canada and was looking at getting some, but have been put off by the cost to buy and get it here (Around $150 CAD). I'd gladly pay that if I knew it would help, so was just wondering what your feedback was.

If only I could find a way not to sit down?
I have the same problem, sitting seems to make things worse.

I was looking into getting a donut pillow, have you ever tried one, or has anyone else? If so did it make any difference?

Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Don't give up on the stretches or looking for trigger points, both are a very big part in dealing/beating this! I also get pain from stretching and burning in the muscles, this is probably because we haven't really worked those muscles for a while and as we stretch and build them stronger you will c...

Re: Underwear

I have found that sports underwear is the most comfortable. Most of my underwear were cotton and would feel rough and uncomfortable as the day would continue. I wore some sports underwear (90% polyester, 10% spandex) and it was much better. They are tight, so keep things in one place down there, but...
