Re: Sits Bone & Coccyx Pain

I've been doing yoga for a bit now and it does help somewhat, especially if I don't overdo it. The last few weeks I've been doing less intense stretching/yoga and I've noticed a significant improvement. I got my x-ray results back today and everything was normal, so that rules out arthritis or any m...

Re: Sits Bone & Coccyx Pain

I've eased off stretching for a bit, especially on the left side, and feel better. It's still there but it's more bearable. The problem is that by not doing my stretches/physical activity as much it seemed to have caused a flare in my other symptoms. I'm over the worst of that now also, so hopefully...

Have you tried a stool softener, like Restoralax? That might help you keep taking your NSAID medication. Probably best to talk this through with a doctor, but I know people who take stool softeners every day.

Re: Sits Bone & Coccyx Pain

I'm going to go to my doctor first to get some imaging done (x-ray or MRI) to make sure it's not arthritis or something like that first, then for sure I'll make an appointment with a PT. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms.

Sits Bone & Coccyx Pain

I've been having lots of pain in my left buttock (round about the sits bone) and also in the coccyx when sitting for prolonged periods of time. Sometimes it's almost immediately when I sit down. I never had this problem until I had a really bad bout of CPPS last Christmas and I immediately started t...

Re: Ganglion Impar Block

HCR123 I don't get pain in the side of the buttock, it's more in the sits bone and only on the left side. Also my tail bone gets excruciatingly painful at times and is very tender to touch when sitting for long periods. What you describe sounds like Trochanteric bursitis, based on what I've read on ...

Re: Ganglion Impar Block

What type of pain does the hip bursitis cause? The reason I ask is because for the last 10 months I get unbearable pain in my left buttock and tail bone when sitting. I can run/exercise ok and standing is fine, only when I sit do I get the pain. Could this be the same thing? I was thinking it's been...

Re: Hi there - update

The only thing I do regularly to treat my symptoms is constantly sit on a donut cushion. For me, this is a must, along with avoiding constipation. I tried a donut cushion and it didn't really work for me, but avoiding constipation definitely helps me. I try to stick to a high fibre, low fat, diet n...

Re: Ganglion Impar Block

I'm the one who has had now two ganglion impar nerve blocks. Both brought a significant reduction in symptoms (pain). I am considering a ganglion impar ablation at this point for a longer lasting effect So I take it the effects of the nerve block are temporary and the pain comes back? Does it come ...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

That's good to hear webslave. I was thinking maybe part of the problem is that I've been taking some other supplements at the same time as the Q-Urol (Fish oil & multivitamin) for the last couple of weeks. I know that you're not supposed to take Q-Urol at the same time as antibiotics, do you know if...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

Ok I'll try and cycle, hopefully that's the solution. The Q-Urol really worked when I started taking it, I had very little burning in urethra/meatus and often none at all. I ran out of Q-Urol and didn't take any for about 3 weeks at one point and the burning returned. Once I got back on Q-Urol it su...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

I have been taking Q-Urol constantly - 2 pills per day for about 5 months or so now. I followed the manufacturer's recommendations on dosage, they didn't suggest to cycle on/off. Do you find that helps? I haven't taken Quercetin alone yet, but I've ordered some as it's much cheaper than Q-Urol - Jus...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

Hi MajorSky1, did you ever go back on the Ashwagandha Root? You seemed to have some real success initially, I'm interested to see if you kept it going and if you feel it's helping? I have bought some, as well as Shilajit Extract and Quercetin. I'm hopeful it'll help as I've read some online reviews ...

Re: Ganglion Impar Block

Let me know if you go ahead with this, and if it's successful WS.

I have similar symptoms to you and also chronic coccyx pain, so I'd be interested to find out of this works.

Cryotherapy

Anyone ever tried cryotherapy? If so was it helpful with CPPS? There's very little research data available but I read it can help with inflammation, auto immune conditions and can boost energy & metabolism. It's also good for combating delayed onset muscle soreness after exercising. I was researchin...
