Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

That's good to hear webslave. I was thinking maybe part of the problem is that I've been taking some other supplements at the same time as the Q-Urol (Fish oil & multivitamin) for the last couple of weeks. I know that you're not supposed to take Q-Urol at the same time as antibiotics, do you know if...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

Ok I'll try and cycle, hopefully that's the solution. The Q-Urol really worked when I started taking it, I had very little burning in urethra/meatus and often none at all. I ran out of Q-Urol and didn't take any for about 3 weeks at one point and the burning returned. Once I got back on Q-Urol it su...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

I have been taking Q-Urol constantly - 2 pills per day for about 5 months or so now. I followed the manufacturer's recommendations on dosage, they didn't suggest to cycle on/off. Do you find that helps? I haven't taken Quercetin alone yet, but I've ordered some as it's much cheaper than Q-Urol - Jus...

Re: Ashwagandha root!!!

Hi MajorSky1, did you ever go back on the Ashwagandha Root? You seemed to have some real success initially, I'm interested to see if you kept it going and if you feel it's helping? I have bought some, as well as Shilajit Extract and Quercetin. I'm hopeful it'll help as I've read some online reviews ...

Re: Ganglion Impar Block

Let me know if you go ahead with this, and if it's successful WS.

I have similar symptoms to you and also chronic coccyx pain, so I'd be interested to find out of this works.

Cryotherapy

Anyone ever tried cryotherapy? If so was it helpful with CPPS? There's very little research data available but I read it can help with inflammation, auto immune conditions and can boost energy & metabolism. It's also good for combating delayed onset muscle soreness after exercising. I was researchin...

Re: Wise/Anderson Advertisement

I have never had the feeling this forum is an advertisement for anything to be honest. Not many people on here have actually been to the W/A clinic because they simply can't afford it, so instead you get good advice on how other people deal with their symptoms and what makes them feel better. You're...

Re: Florasone

Never used it.

I did use polysporan and felt that helped a little. I also used Vaseline and it was helpful too.

That's a pretty interesting theory, and one that would make a lot of sense

Re: My Story

Hi WS is good you for some free PT even though it hasn't helped. I see a PT in Milton, who was trained by Caroline and she's quite good. Her name is Christine Bessette. I've also been taking Q-Urol and found that helpful with the urethral burning pain. Although I had to order my last batch from shop...

Re: My Experience

Just wondering, how would Viagra (natural or manufactured) help with this condition? I don't know about anyone else, but when the symptoms peak with me last thing I want to do is anything sexual.

Re: My Experience

This is not an actual condition, a bit like non bacterial chronic prostatitis or IBS. It's normally females who are diagnosed with this, when all other tests are normal (It's the female equivalent of prostatitis!). There is no test that confirms it. You most probably have CPPS and the urologist just...

Where did you get your Q-Urol in Canada?
www.Q-Urol.ca

It's free shipping and is sent from Quebec. I looked into Prosta-Q but could only get it from the States, with $31 US shipping costs! It would have cost me over $100 CAN to get one bottle.

Re: Suffering

Webslave, I was also wondering if you know of anything about the Chinese Kai Kit Wan. I bought it along with the Prosta Q and showed them both to my Urologist during my last visit. He told me to take the Prosta Q but couldn't advise me on the Chinese pills If Prosta-Q was working for you, why even ...

Re: 6 years with CPPS

Don't do nerve block injections, complete waste of time!

I had 8 months of injections (Every 4 weeks), and had cortisone injections every other time. It didn't do a thing for me, and the doctor eventually called a halt as he was worried he might actually cause more damage if he kept doing it.
