Since Dr. Shoskes is involved and we know/trust him - I would assume that you give his review and involvement more weight. Do you think he is overstating it? Personally - the whole theory sounds plausible to me (note I said plausible - not probable). And I do trust Dr. Shoskes after having met him.....

Q-Urol is basicly prota-q with bee pollen added. If you are already using cernilton try adding either Prosta-Q or a high quality quercitan/bromalain supplement. A very affordable one is SOLGAR brand. I have been using it for a few years with great results....the cernilton never did help me though I ...

my understanding (and I am not a doctor so someone feel free to correct me) is that gastric bleeding leads to black/dark stools - not bright red.

Well - I never really stopped working when my symptoms were bad. I did take about 2.5 weeks of sick time when I first got hit with it - then I resigned myself to live with it for life since I needed to support my family. Thank God I am symptom free / in remission of this thing for a long while now.....

Need Advise on Cold Medications

Every time I get a cold I post here looking for advise - so many of the meds are off limits to prostate sufferers.

Anyone have a good med for people who have a disposition for prostate issues?

I can not breath at all.....

I am a recent dad myself (for the 2nd time) and can assure you that the cp thing will vanish from your mind during the intense joy and stress during your interactions with your child.

Just be the best dad you can and work on getting better.

Congrats! Its a blast!

I think we have a misunderstanding.

I was speaking of the "body" of Shoskes work as being very pertinent to our problem in general.

That makes me take particular interest in any study he is involved with.

As to the nanbacteria thing - I have no real opinion as to if it is real or not at this time.

I have had a problem with the whole cerniliton / bee pollen thing for a while now. They list bee-pollen and then claim it is cerniliton. Supplement manufacturers (all of them) are always discounted by many MD's because of either vauge or inadequate labeling. I hate to see a reason given for MD's to ...

AUA 2005 Abstracts available

Webslave - I read the abstracts you pointed to. I see that Shoskes is presenting on his EDTA / Nanobacteria treatment study. Does anyone know the current success/failure level of this study since the publication a few months back? Or is this just recapping the same study? Just curiious as I find Sho...

I have "only" had to have two rounds of injections - but each round is a series of 5 injections at two week intervals. Each injection is actually several injection (each lobe of the prostate and each seminal vesicle). And yes - it does hurt - but it is a minor and fleeeting pain compared to the CP p...

Well - Since I was refrenced several times in this thread - I thought it appropriate to answer. I have no way to know what elements of the "cocktail" defined my remission (stroid, abx, anti-fungal, xylocaine, etc.) But - my remission is VERY REAL and very long lasting. Yes my regimen includes querci...

Thanks for all of the input - I am afraid of it - I may try one of your suggestions like a scooter - The idea of going back into "hell" is not very appealing -

Thanks for the inputs guys!
