too scared to tempt fate.....

Hey guys - Any of you who have read my posts over the past few years know that I have been in a "remission" for a while. I feel great - no symptoms - only drugs I take now are avodart (like proscar) and Quercitan & Grape seed extract. I am 100% symptom free for a long while now. My son is 5 - and re...

I am a father of two. Boy is 5, and girl is 20 months. I came down with CP when my son when about 18 - 20 months. I was able to have my daughter while I suffered from this condition. I was miserable and borderline suicidal for a while - obsessing about the pain and the symptoms. My protocol (while n...

I would like to thank Dr. Shoskes for his continuing efforts in this overlooked field. Remember - you neverknow what is going to be of help until it is researched - and having lived in pain and now out of it - I am glad there is someone working to help keep up the cause of treatment for CP. This is ...

I don't read this as much as I used to since I am feeling damn near 100%. I had several rounds of injections a few years back that worked very well for me. Like any treatment - it is not for everyone. I would not recomend it for anyone who is hessitant about it. (I know nothing about the Dr you refr...

For what its worth Viox helped me before I tried other more lasting regimens.

But other NSAIDS did too (like Alleve / Naproxen)

Does that mean we discredit Dr. Shoskes too? Also a supporter with some type of interest in the product? I disagree with this stance - and while I don't know if there is any connection or not - will remain open minded on the topic until all evidence is in. Besides - I have yet to see an article publ...

Weil has been a favorite of mine long before I got prostatitis.

His techniques have helped me with my sinus infections and he has written a bunch on quercitan as well.

I doubt the "cancer thing" though.

But I think his approach is fantastic (simple and elegant in many cases)

The test seemed meaningless to me (except to rule out unlikely causes). I went down a different path for treatment anyway - search my posts if you are interested - they are all there - but be warned that my experiences are in the minority here - and my choices not well liked by most here.... I would...

I had two - all they showed was inflamed seminal vesicles and prostatic stones...... I assume that you are referring to the test with the IV - Dye injection. It is a little weird - very warm feeling all over the body from the injection - but no long term harm - and no good for me - I am not sure wha...

First - I am not a doctor. So - I am not qualified to make a medical diagnoses. But I saw half a dozen Urologists that claimed that I had CPPS (Including Dr. Shoskes). Now - if it was or was not bacterial - that is the debate that has been spinning for 20 years now - so I have nothing new to offer o...

Thanks for the thought. I haven't had any injections in well over 18 months (or so )... Pain is only when I eat these foods and quite transatory - so - I guess avoidance is in order.... In terms of a cure - I never thought the injections were a cure - just a good modality of treatment - and for me -...

update

Hello all - I am still doing very well - lets say 99.95% Only pain comes after long periods of sitting on hard surfaces (wooden chairs, etc) - and that fades overnight. I notice however - that when I induldge a particular food vice (Indian - Lamb Vindaloo - soo spicey it burns my hair off!) that I h...
