Re: Bungee Chair, ... Who has tried one???

I have now added the Herman Miller Mirra chair to our Amazon store . Sorry to be such a pain in the A$$ but could someone please explain the attraction of the chair. Looking at the pix on line I just can't figure out how the ergonomics of the seat provide any relief. I did order a Bungee chair yest...

Re: Bungee Chair, ... Who has tried one???

I don't know anything about the bungee chair...But I use a Herman Miller Mirra chair and find it comfortable - it is the only chair I can sit in for an extended period of time. Thanx for responding. Just checked the chair out on line. From the pix I've seen, the bottom (seat) doesn't look like anyt...

Possible Help For Frequency & Urgency

My Dr. gave me some samples of Sanctura & Flomax to try together.
1 x Daily
Flomax .5 hour after meal and then Sanctura 2 hours after meal.

<knock on wood> Really seems to have controlled my urgency and frequency to almost normal levels for the past 4 days I've been taking it.

Re: have CPPS: sleepless from hot flashes and flushing

He started me on a round of prednisone to calm my inflammation and got me started in physical therapy. Please tell me what effect the Prednisone had. I've been thinking about getting my Dr. to prescribe me some to try and break the pain/inflammation cycle that my PT has not been able to overcome in...

Thanx, I plan on it but I'm gonna have to live with it for a bit as I have knee surgery on Monday morning.
I'll probably leave him a message.
Have a good sunday

Re: Pudendal Nerve Blocks this Morning by Dr. Weiss

Thursday night I put on the lidocaine patch over my pubic area and slept like a baby. Urgency all gone. Didn't even have to rush out of bed in the morning. Urgency and frequency as close to normal as it has been in months. But that could also be from the new drugs he gave me, Flomax, Sanctur...

Re: Golfball under my tail bone, ....Anyone????

That's one of the most common of all symptoms. Please use the search function. Thanx webslave, I did try the search. I got a lot of golfball in the anus. I must have missed golf ball under the tailbone. Maybe I'm just unsure if they are the same thing. Any thoughts on this scenario. I have NEVER ha...

Golfball under my tail bone, ....Anyone????

OK, so I developed what feels like a golfball underneath the lowest part of my tailbone yesterday morning. Thought it was from being constipated from all the meds so I figured I'd get at it from the source and I hit it with a fleet (bottle enema, saline laxitive) Felt like some of it came out but no...

Re: Bike Seat

tamdc, I can't disagree with your logic on the hard seat/good shorts theory as just about ever hi-end road biker I've come across seems to subscribe to the same philosophy. I have actually tried some very expensive saddles that either had no padding or very little. I think my ass bones just weren't ...

Re: Bike Seat

Thanx Ken, I have an almost brand new Specialized BG Alias I'll mount on the road bike if I ever make it back. Still searching for something for the mountain bike. Thanx Webslave, looking through those saddles again, (Think I looked when I first got on the site) I think there are a few good (possibl...

Re: Bike Seat

Joe, my experience as a fellow mtn. biker as well as a road biker, is that the WTB saddles aren't the best for pelvic issues because they have a hammock shape (front to back), which means that the nose slopes up. For the same reason, I really recommend you look for a flatter saddle which is then se...

Herman Miller and Bungee Chairs

OK, I need to find a friggen chair I can sit on. I tried a Bungee chair for about 30 seconds (had to give it back to the busy admin lady at her desk) and it seemed pretty comfy. Can't find one locally to try for an extended period of time and I don't want to order one on line until I know it's not g...

QUESTIONS - Re: Bike Seat

Hey there fellow "pain suffering AVID cyclists" I'm taking off from riding as long as I have to, to get rid of the worst/longest flare I've ever had. One of the things that gets me through is thinking about the time I'll be able to get back on my bikes. (I have to believe that I will!!!) I have ALWA...
