Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Thought I'd give everyone an update. I took a valium and it seemed to help, and now I'm experiencing frequency, added some alcohol to it. Let me state that usually this relaxes me. I feel very relaxed right now. I also tried to do some internal work. Now I do this every now and then to gauge where I...

I feel like I do with my Colon when I take Donnatal. I can feel the anticholinergic properties. Just so long lasting.., Donnatal wears of in 8 hours or so.

Re: Question about my case (ahmedqman)

I'm having same issues after just one dose. Really starting to freak out now. It's been 3 days but something isn't right.

Very hesitant urine flow with feeling of incomplete evacuation of bladder. For the most part constant discomfort.

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Another option I just considered... Maybe it's working like it supposed to and dulled out the pain sensation and I'm reacting to an increased bladder capacity and decreased pain sensation? Who knows but it's bizarre. Especially since it was only two doses.

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

I read it could help with ibs so I tried it since my ibs was getting worse. That's the initial reasoning behind it. I'm just fearing permanent damage at this point. Doesn't seem likely but the fact the side effect is still there leads evidence that I created a ling term issue. Very disheartening to ...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Think I'm done with ssri's I was doing very well without them this last two months. I thought they would help with my bowel issues and general sadness about my gramps but nope. Just going to push through and hopefully these symptoms go away and continue to work on my stress reduction. This was like ...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

The funniest thing is that the anti depressant has magnified my anxiety. I had it all under control going on 2 months working with my therapist. But that panic attack and retention was unreal. I still having trouble getting over what happened to me. Just shocking. How long you think the side effects...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Well I've been good for a while, working with my therapist and what not to deal with stress an anxiety. I've been making great strides... until the last week or two. After a long process of dying my grandfather finally passed away, and not sure if its caused issues but my IBS/CPPS/bladder pain start...

Re: Clenching during sleep

It depends on variety of factors for me. If my bowels are in distress, the first thing I wake up with cramps and urinary pain. Otherwise I'm good in the morning and it progressively gets worse. The absolute worst though is when you have morning wood with painful urination. That Is the pits and happe...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Yeah aint that the truth. Learning new things I never really thought about or dealt with. Doubt it will help control my symptoms 100% but anything that can get me to understand the way I am and how I can better help myself and not freak out, is a good thing.

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

So far the psychologist has been a great help to me in understanding where my anxiety stems from. We are just getting started but doing well. Another thing. Because I have diverticular disease and IBS supposedly I have been keeping a food diary. Large proteins give me trouble with digestion. Every t...

Re: Hello all! I'm new!

Ultimately you have to break the anxiety cycle. Need to stop dwelling on it and move on. I know easier said than done. I struggle each and every day. You probably wound yourself up in stress and it manifested in your pelvic floor. Stretching spas light exercise. Get your natural endorphins moving. O...
