Weirdness with Tramadol (Ultram)

A couple years ago I first tried Tramadol, seeing as it brought some relief to many people on this forum. I didn't like it, it seemed to give me some jittery feelings and raised my anxiety a bit without bringing any pain relief. Earlier this week I decided to try it again, thinking that I may have b...

Gene Therapy

I read somewhere that they may be ready to try this on humans in about 3 years. Between this and the potential findings of Dr. Dimitrikov's study, the future could bring some serious relief. Lets all hang in there.

Re: Cortisol levels before / after relaxation training

Very true webslave, there have been times when doing paradoxical relaxation or some other form of meditation where I've felt extremely relaxed and focused as well, yet after going back into reality the benefits didn't stay with me for too long. And antidepressants have helped me with panic and anxie...

Re: Sneezing

I'm in the same boat as Scoobysnacks. In fact, in the past year or so, I've had occasions when I'm about to sneeze and my body will tense up enough to prevent the sneeze from even occurring.

Re: Suggested reading- Sedona Method

I tried this out a few years ago and got little, if anything out of it. I may not have given it a real chance to work, but the technique of 'releasing' to me was equal to telling somebody to just forget about it. I'm glad to hear its helping you though, knowing that it is actually helping someone el...

Re: Adrenocortical Hormone Abnormalities in Men with CP/CPPS

Trying to not get my hopes up over here, but I have to agree with Gary that reading this post did give me a glimmer of hope. It gave me some feeling that CPPS is not something I did to myself, I'm really hoping that's the case. This was a nice post to find after not visiting this website in a long t...

Re: Do any of you do YOGA?/

I've done yoga on and off, depending on how my symptoms were, for a couple years. The one I like best is Bikram yoga, where they turn up the heat in the studio and you sweat like a maniac. The heat is really helpful for me, however this is pretty intense yoga and you should be careful. I went yester...

Seredyn, Amoryn

I was wondering what you guys thought or have heard of these supplements. I currently take zoloft for anxiety which isn't working as well as it used to, and perhaps these could be a better alternative.

It was very noticeable for me when on Zoloft that I could last much longer. I did enjoy this at times because it made me feel like I was pleasing to my girlfriend, but I also realize it keeps the pelvis at a heightened state of tension for a longer time.

Thats kind of my guess, that the trigger points have climbed northward as if my pelvis has said 'no vacancy'. My neck has bands of taut muscle all throughout these days.
