Re: Update on my CPPS site

For me and I know some other members on here benefit from stretching. Could it be your experiencing a flare after stretching similar to those who experience a flare after doing internal work? It''s usually a positive sign. Have you been seeing a PT? My PT has told me my pelvic floor is tight still, ...

Update on my CPPS site

I just updated my CPPS site. It is a compilation of everything that i have learned from this site. I tried to simplify it as much as possible.Check it out at http://www.freewebs.com/trydent78/ . Plan to add more video. Let me know if you have more ideas.

Re: Phenibut Powder

Just want to thank Scooby for the phenibut recommendation. It really helps break the spasm cycle and calm me down. Plus i sleep really good on it. Side effects aren't too bad either. I think its almost better than Xanax.

Free Meditation Course

My friends girlfriend recently went to a 10 day Vipassana Meditation course in North Fork, CA. She said that it was a really good experience... http://www.dhamma.org/ There is locations worldwide and its free. Think it might be a good idea for some of us to try it out.

Re: Perineal / PC Muscle Spasm Pulling...Pain

I had a really bad flare after surfing before. I think it was from a combination of the tight wetsuit and the cold water(during the winter). But I have been surfing this summer with trunks in warmer water and i dont get a flare. Guess i need to move some where tropical to surf. Were you wearing a we...

Re: Sharp pains in stomach

I believe my CPPS was triggered by abdominal pain/IBS. I remember the night before my CPPS came on, I had severe abdominal pain. I then woke up with the golf ball in the rectum sensation. Still trying to figure out my food intolerances.

Re: Bike Seat

Looks like this seat is good if you have problems in the perineum area. But my problems are around the obturator internis and piriformis , is this near the sit bones? Seems like the pads would be pushing on my problem area. Any other options?

Phenibut with Elavil???

I am taking 10 mg of Elavil and want to try phenibut with it at night. Does anyone know if its ok to take together? I read that phenibut is structually similar to Baclofen(which i took before compounded with Elavil in a suppository). I have been taking Xanax 1-2 times a week and want to get off it.

Re: My progress (Calguy's Case)

I can relate to you calguy. When I push on triggers on the abs, sometimes I can feel a electric shock sensation go down to the pelvic floor. My problems are specifically on the psoas and rectus abdominis (the area below the belly button). Try going in a yoga bridge position and bring one hand up to ...

Re: Eating healthy to reduce pain

I don't know if you have IBS but for me I believe its causing some sort of chain reaction to the pelvic floor. I think I need to experiment more with my diet. I didn't notice any significant changes going wheat free for 3 weeks. And I haven't noticed anything that really flares me significantly othe...

Eucommia ulmoides oliver Tea

I was recommended this tea by my acupuncturist and didn't know anything about it. I have been hooked on it ever since and read about all the great therapeutic effects. I really feel better after drinking it. Plus it tastes really good! Just add a little honey! Eucommia ulmoides oliver, a rare and sp...

Dicylomine(IBS) induced CPPS

I remember the night before my CPPS came on my abdomen hurt really bad. My abdomen had been in pain for a couple years before but never like that night. I was given dicylomine since I was diagnosed with IBS but I never took it because I didn’t like the side effects. So I thought I would give the dic...

Re: Going for Botox tomorrow

How did your Botox injection go? I really don't think Botox is good for a long term treatment. Although I think the doctor that did my injection is highly educated and intelligent, a part of me thinks he is ripping people off. He didn't call me nor ask me on my second Botox injection how the first w...
