Post Bowel Activity? - What does this mean?

I notice that after I have a bowel movement I can have a sensation of needing to urinate; HOWEVER (and this is the part I need help understanding) is why the sensation to urinate does not become VERY pronounced until about 45 MINUTES AFTER the bowel activity. Re: Feeling Crappy and need perspective (Elitynski's Case)

I did visit a bariatric surgeon but talking with other patients, etc I felt like the consequences could be too great. I've lost 20 lbs in the past month by changing my diet. I really appreciate your feedback.

Re: Feeling Crappy and need perspective (Elitynski's Case)

Webslave - I just read your addition to your response about the Med diet. Thank you so much for that I am going to pursue that and the obesity relationship to pelvic pain is what I've been told as well. Hard but helpful. I just got back from a run to the bathroom due to a digestive attack - and agai...

Re: PELVIC PAIN

Sorry -one more thing. If the Flomax doesn't work, the procedure for dilation would still be an option, correct? And if so, that may assist in symptom relief. Just hang in there - it is a bit of a journey but there are answers. We're here to support you.

Re: PELVIC PAIN

One question about your diabetes - is it Juvenile or Adult Onset? Also - considering your weight - how many lbs are you away from your ideal / medically healthy weight?

Have you been on the Flomax?

Are you doing any kind of stretching / strengthening exercises?

Also - have you talked to anyone about SSRIs or anything to reduce nerve pain?

Pelvic Pain Rehab (see website) has an office on the westside on Olympic. This would be very convenient for you.
