Michael
thanks for the response....

My burning was in the pubic symphysis, and occasionally around the sphincter.
I use me Theracane now primarily around my belly button, below my rib cage, and above the hip and pubic bones.

internal massage

This is an embarrassing topic. How does one know if one is doing internal perineal massage correctly? I have small thumbs. (Go ahead and laugh.) Am I reaching the prostate? How do you know what it feels like? What's the best position for doing this? How often are you supposed to do this -- daily? th...

I've been working with Marilyn Freedman, in Great Neck, NY -- just outsode of NYC. David Wise -- when he was nice enough to speak with me via email, though I've never taken is seminars -- called her "the best on the east coast." She's very familiar with trigger point release, the Stanford/Wise-Ander...

Thanks for the quick answer. Really -- it's appreciated. So... is Q-Urol btter than Prosta-Q? Who does one know which to take? And.... Didn't you used to recommend prostaprotek in the past? (That's how I first heard of it?) Hadn't they supported this website, at one time, too? Thanks so much for you...

Ben-Gay patches

I mentioned this in another subject thread, but thought I would do it here, too -- just so you guys wouldn't miss it. I found that putting those ben-gay patches on trigger points I have (But not ones too near my groin) help. For example, I have a trigger point in my side, under my ribs, and another ...

I do have a Theracane, thanks. (Haven't been brave enough to try it in the perineum area, though.) I just bought ProstaProtek pills -- quercetin, from Algonot labs -- but wonder if the Prosta-Q is better. (ProstaProtek is only 500 mg of Quercetin a day; is Prosta-Q more?) Any advice there? Another t...

first steps of success

Just wanted to share my story. My problems started six months ago -- purely frequency and urgency issues, no pain. When my doctor found nothing wrong with my prostate, he put me in touch with a behavioral therapist. She had me extend the intervals between my trips to the bathroom. I got a little bet...
