The bacteria thing is a somewhat foggy situation....here's my whole story.... Before day 1, I was living a 100% normal life with no odd urinary symptoms, and no pain. Day 1: urgency 24/7 (felt like I had to go worse than I've ever had to go non-stop), at this point I thought I wasn't emptying my bla...

Ok Ok....I know, Adderall was a HUGE mistake! I'm paying for it now. It's not something I use...it's just something I tried at a party one night about a month and a half ago, got an infection after not urinating all night and holding a huge amount of alcohol in my bladder, infection was not properly...

This is my problem too. I have found that bending over to touch the toes and taking deep breaths targets that area. I also massage the area with my fingers. I found that by pressing on the right side of my perineum that area just below the rectum on the testicle side would reflex then relax. You al...

You will find that doing the stretches and relaxation does help with the hesitancy. It a long and low process, as mentioned by many on this forum, and requires patience. When things do get better, don't stop, keep your stretches/relaxation up. Try finding a PT/massage therapist who can do TP releas...

Keep us posted with results. I've also started the same two things you have in the past week. Stretching didn't really change things for the first day or two, but then I started getting intense spasms whenever I was laying down or sitting with my feet off the ground. That scared the hell out of me, ...

Yes, I know all the bad words about Levaquin around here and the antibiotics, but I've had this problem for a month, and it did begin with an infection in the urethra so I don't care to be on them, but I'll always wonder "what if" if I don't give it the full run. 16 days in, and although I don't thi...

Question about how Prosta-Q works

I just got my first bottle of Prosta-Q this week. I'm currently on Levaquin for a month, so due to the popular advise given on this board, I will wait another couple of weeks before starting the Prosta-Q. My question though is what exactly it does to help, for those who it does. Does it help relax t...

By the way, what happened to you with the Adderall is exactly analogous to what happened to me -- I took Sudafed (a similar drug), which significantly reduced my feeling of having to urinate, and then developed some urinary hesitancy. Where you able to overcome? And how so? Although at this point m...

Currently I am just doing the relaxation and stretches. Seeing as I've only had this problem for a month and I'm only half way through my trial of antibiotics, I'm trying to see if I can work it out on my own first, as some have. My main concern right now is that I'm relaxing the pelvic floor correc...

Thank you for the advise so far.. Surgery is dead last on my list of things to try, as I've only had one surgery before in my life, and it made the problem worse. I realized during this process, that I did have quite quite a bit of pelvic pain. I bought A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS, read it, and started...

Moment to Moment Relaxation - Can you relax too much?

Last week I read A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS, and have since been doing moment to moment relaxation, but I have a few questions. This seems like it would be such a key in this process and has such a short description of it in the book. I read a few older threads that touched on this but couldn't really...

Mine just started this week, as I read A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS, I have been trying moment to moment relaxion, keeping my pelvic muscles relaxed. My spasms are these muscles involuntarily clinching back up. I can't go to sleep unless I'm clinched. This doesn't seem normal...is it?

I think I'm having this very same problem. It only happens when I lay down to go to bed though. Although this is the worst cause you can't fall asleep when you keep having spasms disturbing you every minute.
