Not to jinx myself, but my urinary frequency seems to have resolved as of now. It seems that after I left my bladder drain, I always have a fair amount of urine left in the urethra that I can empty by contracting the bulbospongious muscle, which is supposed to be normal. But if I do this, I find mys...

Ask for Urelle or Pyridium for the discomfort afterwards. Urelle makes you feel good.

urinary symptoms

Hey LT and Webslave, did you guys have urinary symptoms at all? LT, did your bro have urinary symptoms? How were you guys able to overcome?

Do you know anyone with urinary symptoms that got back to 95% or more?

Thanks,

How old are you?

Tracflog, prostatitis symptoms could come from stricture or something else. I am young, 26, and had a cystoscopy done--nothing found.

I would just get a flexible scope--the whole thing should take 5 minutes and not be too bad. You'll need to take an antibiotic for a couple days afterwards.

Neurontin

I've been trying to find a study to see if Neurontin is effective in treating this problem. Haven't seen one. Anyone helped by this drug? Hurt by it?

In need of Good News

I caught a cold, and to my horror, discovered that I can no longer take sudafed or nyquil. I had a terrible CPPS flare up that continues even as the cold subsides. Crap. Anyway, can someone please tell me when the next CPPS conference is? I am looking forward to reading new research results and what...

LT, I did ask my uro about it and he didn't seem concerned. Though I should mention at this time my uro probably thinks I am crazy. This has been going on for a little over 3 months now, but I am definitely better than I was.

Prelief is great btw.

Pooping Question

Sorry guys, this is a bit gross, but I am curious to know if others are similar. Since my CPPS started, I have noticed that while I take a s**t, if use force to make the poop come out, I drip urine from my penis. 1) Is this normal? I don't recall doing this before I had CPPS. 2) Do others have this?...

Citrus, Spicy foods, Caffeine and Alcohol

I have a definite sensitivity to citrus, spicy foods, caffeine and alcohol. Have had it now for three months. I am curious to know if anyone else has this? Does it diminish over time?

Will I ever be able to drink beer again? I can't seem to handle acidic foods at all.

Post Scope

What a surprisingly quick and painless procedure. Too much anxiety all week for not a big deal. Kevin814, as you predicted, he found nothing wrong with me at all. No narrows, no strictures. Bladder wall looked fine, no marks or bleeding. So, he told me I don't have IC. My uro thinks I just have pros...
