maybe I'll try it. Hard to believe that nobody here has tried it for pelvic pain. Since my back is actually in pain, this may be a good opportunity to give it a go. They have an extra strength one.

Re: Weak Stream?

Do many of you have weak urine streams? Is this considered one of the symptoms of CPPS? I am assuming the weak stream is attributed to the muscle dysfunction/pain. Could someone please offer an explanation to why the urine stream would be weak? Thanks in advance. very common. Your muscles are so ti...

I've had Coccyx pain before due to CPPS - and resolved/eased it with internal and external triggerpoint work (treating on and around the coccyx). Richard. Thanks. I've started to do this. Externally, would you consider a sore spot close to the coccyx but not quite on it, to be a trigger point? What...

I spoke to DW, who suspects that it's part of the CPPS. I think I'm going to go to Marilyn Freedman in NY to check/treat it. I'm very confused by it.

coccyx and back pain - please help

Hi there, After about 1.75 years doing the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol, I thought I was doing very well. My pelvis is significantly more relaxed. My urethral pain is gone (every once in a while feel some discomfort, but very rare). The only remaining symptom was a feeling of the muscles tensing ...

The good Dr. has good intentions. The problem that some of you have is that your symptoms are changing all the time. When your symptoms change and it is only because of CPPS, probably the worst thing to do is to start worrying about cancer. HOWEVER, there has to be a balance, because these things ar...

I appreciate the Dr.'s caution, but isn't it true that many men with CPPS (and no cancer) have persistent urinary conditions even while taking alpha blockers?

Definitely go. If you are already in the area then it saves you the travel expense. You'll probably later regret it if you don't go.

I've posted before about how I was given vioxx and developed a pericardial effusion (fluid around the heart) discovered in a pelvic ultrasound. The dr. alarms me about my heart and then prescribed more vioxx for me. I made the connection on my own and stopped taking the drug. If I had continued long...
