Selle Royal Men's Respiro Relaxed Touring/City Bicycle Saddle http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/31BFOwMb5DL.jpg I like the looks of this one. I am hesitant to get a seat without *any* crotch support (horn) as I'd be worried about support. From what it looks like this seat protects the perinuem ...

Bike Seat - anyone use it?

I'd like to start biking again. Uro said I could - mentioned something about a bike seat that doesn't put pressure on the perinueum (I've had a couple surgeries there).

Has anyone used this seat:

Looks like it might be safe.

I do the same thing - sucking in the gut. Guess I started doing it as a kid due to my parents ripping on me for being overweight?

Re: totally agree

If I engage in activities that I have to concentrate on, symptoms go away for a short time.... I experience the same thing. I have started a new job (stressful right there) and when I am up to my eyeballs trying to decipher something and I am feeling good about solving it, I have no symptoms. Also ...

Flareup help/ideas?

Hi, What can I do to help deal with a moderate flareup I am dealing with? It was caused (I suspect) by a night of beer drinking, then sexual activity with my girlfriend. Orgasms always seem to irritate that area, and I guess beer (like many of you) does too. My symptoms are as follows: Frequent urge...

You think the procedure gave you the stricture? Not sure I understand that one, oh well Cheers back at you... Instrumentation of the urethra is a good cause for stricture. It can be done be a ham fisted doctor or nurse catheterising you, or also with to a csysto. You really want a doc with a skille...

I struggle with anxiety myself. I can also understand the "negative talking". I am taking Lexapro and don' t know if it is doing anytthing really. I've talked with a therapist (psychologist) for a while and it seemed to help. Mostly, I am now able to recognize these feelings and sometimes put them i...

Ahh - ok - I found more info searching for CFS. Just out of curiousity - because I didn't see anyone address this - the CFS symptoms seem to be brought on by CPPS. Then for those who have gone through the SP, and are feeling much better - does the CFS improve as well? Or does CFS develop into it's o...

Muscle weakness and fatigue

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed - I did a search and found stuff for muscle but not muscle fatigue. So, I have recently started Uroxatrol and am hoping it will help some. However, I have noticed for quite some time, that along with all the LUTS symptons, that fatigue seems to be an...

Re: Uroxatral side effects?

In my last post I mentioned being put on Uroxatral. As expected, it is putting me in a coma. Will these symptoms go away as I get used to the drug? I feel like I'm out of it. I too just started Uroxatral. I am on my 2nd day and have worken up with a mild heache, little dizzy and feeling like I am f...

update

Hi all - Just wanted to share how I am doing and get some feedback. After finding this site, I've been reading "A headache in the pelvis" and reading some uro journal articles about this affliction. My stricture surgery seems to have held up - and my uro is very happy about my flow rates and how thi...

question about Antihistamines

Are Antihistamines supposed to help or hurt those of us suffering from CPPS? I had a terrible cold last week and was taking something for it, and it seemed to me that my symptons lessened to a degree. Now, I don't know if that was due to lack of sexual activity or that I was taking something for the...

I've had a bunch of cysto's done. All with flexible scopes. They are fine, nothing to worry about, provided the doc uses a flexible scope and know's what he is doing. In my case I did have some strictures, which have been subsquently repaired, but my CPPS symptoms remain :(

pinching/needle sensation

Hey - Does anyone here have pinching pain in their adbomen? I tend to get it when I am stressed out. It almost feels like it's in my prostate, but it's more the the left side of my abdomen. Almost feels like someone is poking a needle into tissue or an icepick into the prostate? Strange, but it seem...
