Carl, Try and be patient dude. Your still in the first year so pain can be horrible still. In fact it may not have quite reached its peak yet before it does calm down. You have to change habits that brought things on and that takes time, awareness, dedication and effort. As the guys said for now the...

2 and a half months..

and still virtually no pain most days. Not bad going. I know I'm not cured but its a good start. I believe what has helped me and will help others is - LOSING THE FEAR OF CPPS LIFESTYLE CHANGES STRESS RELIEF STRETCHING, MEDITATION, TP WORK NOT BRACING, TENSING AGAINST THE PAIN (VITAL IN MY RECOVERY)...

My quality of life is better now because this thing has hugely changed my approach to life. I appreciate more and rush less, CPPS forced me to go to a psychologist to sort out some major emotional issues, it forced me off wheat and gluten which has made me feel so much better in so many ways, it for...

One more question... where your belly button is, move about 2 inches down, then to the left, now to the left of your testicle, sort of in the gap where your legs attach to your lower abdomen, this is where I am getting pain, weird pain, if I press it the main becomes more intense. This is likely to...

There is a lot of evidence out there (not just Stanford) that you can massage the levator ani muscles yourself.

By the way I'm someone else who does so successfully!

In my case it was more the attitude to my whole life...so I changed from "success is the most important objective in my life" to just enjoy and be conscious about the moment as life doesn't take place on your bank account but simply on the base of being a part of our "wonderful" world. This might b...

I'm pretty sure it can't be healthy for my muscles sitting down all day in a fixed position. I keep thinking maybe the muscles are being contracted/shortened due to being in the same position all the time. I pretty sure stress expressed a muscle tension is the key here but maybe only in conjunction...

Check out your obliques for trigger points. TP's in these muscles are notorious for refering pain to the testicles depite negative test results. I was going to say the same myself! I have been working on TPs on my obliques (both sides) for 2 weeks now and seen great results. Until I really worked o...

My personal opinion is factors like ejaculation, alcohol, food stuffs are often only a secondary irritant to stress and anxiety. In other words if I'm flaring quite badly these things can effect me. Now if I'm not flaring like the last few days then a few drinks, a spicy curry won't effect me barely...
