Re: urination

I agree with gary that irratation in urethra causes you to keep going. Shower does same thing to be too, its crazy. isn't there something that people with IC take to coat the bladder and stop irratation. Gary I think frequency is goingto be biggest challenge. Some poepl may think a little frequency...

Do this, push on your skin real hard, it gets white right, then the blood come flowing back in, same with your finger nails. The same principle works for trigger points and blood ...

Rider Fan, What has been helpful to me for reducing anxiety is some type of cognitive work. There are many different styles such as Byron katie, Albert Ellis, and many others. Byron katie is what I always recommend to people, the website is at http://www.thework.com. The main gist of this cognitive...

S- I just got over the worse flare I've had in 7 years. I'm convinced diet is the key for me. Eat bland foods. No onion, garlic or spices. Drink a bunch of water. Personally, I like chamomile tea with honey. Stress really is a big player, but how does a person controll that? That's a hard issue. If...

carld is that once per day or throughout, because 5-10 is very low, does it actually do anything at that dose. Yes once a day in the evening. Right now I cut it to 5 mg to see how I do? If it doesn't help I can go right back on 10mg or just stop. I have stopped before on this dosage with no problem...

I have a feeling very similar to you Gary. My ears have checked out fine. MRI, EEG, ECG, EKG, Holter monitor, blood pressure, chest X-ray, all normal. Except I almost always have a foggy headed/ lightheaded feeling. The lightheaded feeling is around the front of my head and eyes, which like you is w...

Post PT flares are the worst and you've been in unrelenting pain for 3 weeks?! Webslave, SS, is this common? I have my first PT session in 2 days. Do most people with CPPS endure the same duration in flares after PT? Many people find that the PT increases their symptoms in the short term, but decre...

Re: Rider, what was your dosage?

Rider, at what dosage did you take Elavil in order to achieve the improvement you've described? Huck, I took 5mg for three days and then 10mg for about 2 weeks. I was taking it as much to help with a bad sleep pattern as for my discomfort (an irritating tingling sensation at the tip of my penis tha...
