The hardest thing about TMS is learning to ignore the pain. I think its especially hard when its CPPS since it refers to a very sensitive area and its really hard not to obsess about the pain. One thing I've noticed since joining this forum is that it seems like many of us share the same personaliti...

Stretching of the pubococcygeus muscle

Hey all For the past few months I've been going on and off internal work on my own. I had a few PT sessions to get the hang of it. Basically this is what I do, stretching of the sphincter and just looking around for tps, found 2 so far that refuses to go away. I think they are on the pubococcygeus m...

Look into a book called "potatoes not prozak" its about being sugar sensitive and one of the main symtoms are the Jekyll and Hyde mood swings that you describe, I know that many people have been helped by that book and actually cured depression by eliminating sugar in their diet. Might be worth look...

To those of you who does internal work on yourselves.

Is it possible once youve been to a PT? Do you need a tool or can you reach everywhere without one? I'm finally going to see a PT who does internal work and my hopes are high, according to him he can teach me to do this by myself. The only downside is that Ill have to travel so Ill stay there for a ...

Thank you so much for the encouragement! Mike, I too believe that this "new start" will have a good effect on my well being and therefore hopefully on my symptoms as well. Since I've started believing that my pain is mostly due to psychological factors I think that this actually could help a lot. No...

In John Sarnos book he describes those personality traits exactly. I think in many cases CPPS is an eqivalent to his diagnosis of TMS. Anyone who hasnt read "Healing back pain" or "The Mind-body connection" should do so. The only thing thats really hard about treatment is that you must be 100% certa...

My question is how long does it take before the pain comes after youve eaten "trigger foods"? I wonder if its different in people. Ma...
