Question about Prosta-Q

I've finally managed to obtain 2 Prosta-Q bottles (I live in Italy), and now I have a question: if this stuff works, should I keep with it indefinitely, or only when I have flare ups?

Thanks :P

Scooby, what kind of exercise are you doing for your tight sphincter? Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol? I share a similar story with you: all my CPPS symptoms started with a tighter and tighter sphincter...

waiting is dangerous?

This june I will enroll in the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol: I've suffered of CPPS for 1 year and I think I cannot expect anymore now.

Can I expect a strong degree of recovery? I always fear I've waited too much and some permanent damage has been done.

My sphincter is extremely tight. It has been like that for many years, and probably this is the first CPPS symptom I've experienced. I suppose this to fit well into the muscle tension picture...

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay precious info, thanks to you two!
I'm strongly considering the idea of enrolling into the SP, but I'm pretty concerned about autoimmune dysfunction too... :-|

Thanks for the info.
And what about penis sensitivity? Maybe it's just an impression, but my penis seems less sensitive. I can't judge by myself, but I feel like have one or more trigger points on the sphincter, so I thought all could be related.

Re: B12 deficiency

Hey J? Do you drink a lot of alcohol? Just curious. Also, do you have irritable bowels, and if so, how frequently? Just curious! :P BTW, it is estimated that a significant fraction of the elderly have a Vitamin B deficiency. Although I can't remember if it is B12 or B6 in which they are often defic...

erection problems

Since my last flare up I have frequent erection problems, maintaining the erection is harder and the recovery from time to time seems increased. Does this situation fit with the Stanford hypothesis? Is it an anomaly?

Re: b12 deficiency?

Interesting. A B12 deficiency is fairly rare, what is the cause of it in your case? Hard to tell. Malabsorption I guess... Did you take it sublingually or as an injection? The type of B12 you mention isn't the most common one. Actually I am going on 1000mcg orally. What is the most common type in N...

This type of pain is well documented on the quinolone boards, but in your case it should go away pretty soon.

b12 deficiency?

After 2 months of symptoms, I have recently discovered a B12 deficiency in my blood tests. A deficiency it's not easy to spot because serum levels are not always indicative of how much B12 is in the tissues: even a low normal level (range is 211-911) of B12 may hide a severe deficiency without any s...

CPPS worsened by antibiotics?

My CPPS flared hugely 3 days after the last pill of Cipro. Is it possible?
Is there some research that shows why?

Thanks.

urgent information

Hello everybody, I am new to this forum and I'll post my story sooner or later. I'm actually in bad pain and I'd like to know some information. I'm actually experiencing a bad burning sensation in the penis/urethra zone, after days of other CPPS symptoms like "golf ball" and a more internal, softer ...
