Re: Sacral Neuromodulation Effective for BPS/IC

I found that Gabapentin helped me somewhat but the Interstim didn't do a thing for me. When I did the interstim trial they looked at a muscle around my anus to make sure the sacral neuromodulation was working properly. I found it to be like a TENS therapy devise with the similar adjustments of how s...

I have tried NSA's but found the effectiveness of them reduces over time just like antibiotics did for me. In my opinion I do not think the risk out weighs the benefits in Celebrex's case. Try some over the counter NSA's first and see what they do for you. Sorry I could help you to a greater degree....

Sorry I am no expert, I just have had severe problems with this type of antidepressants. My case is more to the extreme side also and from your writing you seem to be bothered more by urinary problems and my urinary problem are usually my second focus after pain. I would go to your doctor and ask hi...

I keep all my meds put safely away because you never know when kids just might try my meds searching for a high or younger one just like the looks of them or the bottles. I don't believe my children would, but it is better safe than sorry. On the premature ejaculation I found that when I tried SSRI'...

I wouldn't be concerned sometimes the pain lasted for days or weeks. If you try not to be concerned and relax, have a hot bath and maybe some light streaching it helps a lot.

You can use inhaled decongestants as they seem to work at site and not bother the prostate. It is best to only use them in a pinch as Nasacort or other inhaled corticosteroid seem to work with sinus problem as long as they are not too severe and the home remedies Mark mention seam to work ok again i...

I do not have perineum pain and I only had it at the very beginning almost 5 years ago when I was stressed out because the Dr's just load you up on antibiotics and have no other answers.

A high fiber diet with lots of water or non-diuretic liquids is the best way I have found to curb constipation for me but I had received stomach problems (ulcers and reflux) from taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and if you found similar problems stay away from calcium based antacids. Vicodin...

The only time I have had the feeling was when my back pain was migrating downward into my legs. Not when my pain is due to CPPS/CP.

Even if you find a little relief from NSA be careful as they are very hard on the stomach, as I and some others here can testify. AHIP warns us about using narcotics as they make it difficult for the SP to work so if you can function using no more than Ultram or Ultracet your rehab will greatly bene...

I think that many of us had this symptom at the beginning which could of been due to our bodies trying to fight a nonexistent bug or just stress related ( these are just my thoughts on this which may not be even close to right). They disappear over time try not to worry about them too much and try r...

Please ignore my post as I didn't read your other post first. I agree with Carld that Elvila works good for frequency but in my case it was at 50mg and over that I found the best level for relief. I not longer get up every 2 hours to urinate.
