Gil Galad, where would you put a typical headache on your scale?
I fortunately have 1 or 2 headaches a year (my believe for that is that I take out all my tension in the perineum), and when I have one is about 4 on the scale.

Chronic pain and flare ups

Hello!

I was wandering about the pain every one has and the flare ups.
In my case I have a 24h/7d pain about 6 out of 10 and what I call a flare is
the increase of pain to 9 out of 10

Can you share your experience?

LightningTree, I'm very curious to see what you're getting at with this poll. I'm saying this because although I don't have snoring problems I find that sleep affects my CPPS significantly. If I sleep well, I fight it well, if I don't...

Acupuncture did not help me, in fact, put me in bedridden state for an entire month. And it was done by the best in Chinatown in the Bay Area, who was the former head surgeon in a major Chinese hospital. He is still a great doctor, it just that acupuncture does not help me. YMMV. In the third year ...

For a select few hot baths/steam seem to worsen their symptoms, I am not quite sure why.
My belief is (as I have seen it happen to my self) that when they enter a vey hot enviroment they tense up instent of relaxing.

I have been doing my AHIP stretches, rectal biofeedback, massage of the lower abdomen and I had a myofascial PT apply acupuncture needles in the earlobes (part which corresponds with the genital area) but after 3 months of improvement, I feel urgency, pain, burning, the whole gamut once again. So d...

For me unless there are pure clinical results of IC, the two cases are the same.

In my opinion these symptoms suggest muscle dysfuction. If the muscles are tired,in spasm etc they can not push those fluids with great force!

I live in Greece and I go to the beach often (not often enough) and it always makes me feel better (no matter how cold or warm is the water, although in the warmest days its better). Overall, almost every time I wish I could take at least 3 months of vacation and swim every day of it (my feeling is t...
