Worlds better now

Hey guys. Long time. Down to seeing trigger point man once per month. Stretches, daily but only two for about 1 min each. Singulair daily (this stuff virtually prevents it for me but its pricey as all hell) Quercetin 3-4 pills in am, 3-4 pm. No wheat. Pretty much have this beat. Frankly, on this rou...

Re: Chest Pain (fearful of Heart Attack)

Find me someone on this board who has not been to the hospital twice thinking they were having a heart attack. Now next time, before you waste your money and your sanity, you know. Have a coctail and relax.

Re: alcohol and frequency

Tequila is not based in wheat as beer is, so the one commenter may wish to check allergies here. Alcohol is a godsend, for two days. I relax day of, and the day after but tensions INCREASE on day 3 (as I come down) and it actually makes things worse. It is noteworty that having antihistamines in con...

Re: Stress makes allergies worse

Good stuff. Again goes back to my "cure" of a daily anti histamine dose, singulair, and daily quercetin. Along with, of course, removing any food allergens.

Re: Prosta Q vs Prosta-Strong

I am a big believer in Quercentin. At first I had to have "cystoprotec" which uses a "pure" form of quercetin. Then, when I ran out for a week or so (and in incredible pain) I used some generic quercetin I bought some time ago. I had to use a one extra pill in my dosage, (normally 2 caps 2X day) but...

Much better, so long time no see

Hey all. Its been quite a while. Just wanted to update on my status. I was one of the ones who had serious wheat food intolerances like Webslave. Anyways, staying on a cocktail of cystoprotec (quercetin), Singulair and Vitamin B, and avoiding wheat, I have been pretty much symptom free for sometime....

Eric Douglas (Physical therapist, SW Florida)

I have been seeing Eric Douglas of Douglas Orthopedic and Spine Rehab for about 3 years now. He is very up to speed with the latest on Pelvic pain, AHIP, etc. Also, very reasonable at my $50 per visit uninsured rate.

Nothing but good things to say.

Clinic number is 239-947-4184

Re: The exercise question again...

For me, I really need the stress release that comes with exercise. Its part of my regimen, but my muscle condition is far better now than when I first began PT three years ago. Who knows what part it played then.

Latest effective medicine cocktail

I recently had some blood tests for wheat intolerance which came back negative. Like Webslave I was positive for grasses and assume this is close enough to give me the wheat reactions in my lower pelvis. So this may not be for everyone. Anywho, my allergist was very familiar with research on Mast ce...

Re: Exclusion Diet

I used to have plain chicken or pork chops (nothing on them) and plain white rice. Both have to be plain with no seasonings, flavorings, etc. Break out the grill.

Gluten blood testing

Just got my blood tests back. Negative on wheat, oats, coffee, etc all the stuff that bugs me. However, very positive grasses, eg bermuda grass and some dust mites? No clue. All I know is when I have wheat it hurts like hell and then the runs come. I thinnk the reality is you can be very intolerant ...

Re: What is up with beer helping everyone

Alcohol relaxes most people and helps the muscle tension. Short term. Later its effects wear off and people become depressed, hung over, stressed. Relaxation is gone. Only the intestinal irritation is left. Couple that with Wheat for some, its a killer. Hence the lesser effects of vodka. Good vodkas...

Re: URO does 180 - scared and confused

I think most intelligent doctors will tell you that if antibiotics don't work in the first few days, that aint the problem. I was on them for months and they do damage. Take a muscle relaxer like a valium and if it helps? Guess what, its a muscle issue. Read some more. You need more education here. ...

Re: Mast cell researcher

Researching the Cyst protec I take is how I found this guy. In the papers, I found the product is 99% pure quercetion with some additives for absorption. One of the few things I found that had some dramatic positive effect for me. I have sent this guy a couple emails with no response. Hell, the guy ...
