Re: 4mm prostate cyst. Significant?

Thats some thread wake-up! I didn't do anything about the cyst and gave up going to the doctor/uro about my CPPS. I had definitely become a bit obsessive about it and it was making it worse rather than better. 5/6 years on, my CPPS is still there but very rarely bothers me these days, only when I'm ...

Wheat?

Hmmm getting suspicious of wheat sensitivity. I've had CPPS for 3 years now, with urinary frequency, prostatic congestion, and mild pain. But various other whole body symptoms, tiredness, skin problems etc. I thought I'd cracked it 18months ago when I did a YorkTest and it came back with a high scor...

Stretch Marks?

I've been getting more and more stretch marks appearing on my back. They're really itchy first thing in the morning. My weight has been much the same for many many years. I went to the doctor to get it checked out, because my CPPS symptoms are worse in the morning and many of my other symptoms could...

No no they're not dairy farmers! I just made a bit of an idiot of myself with the candida thing avoiding sugary foods etc. So prefer to keep the dairy avoidance secret unless it is proven to me that really is the key... When I have milk (which really is 1 day in 100) I get headaches, frequent ...

The reason I've only managed 99% avoidance is because I've found it difficult to tell people about my dairy intolerance. I've not even told my GP, because I got thoroughly demoralised with going to see them and I suspect they would just poo-poo it. My wife knows about my intolerance and so I never h...

The question I cannot answer is: is my food intolerance (call it leaky gut if you wish), caused by my CPPS (being a wider body syndrome), or is it causing my CPPS? I tested positive for dairy intolerance, and whilst if I do drink milk I get much worse frequency, headaches etc...after 5months of bein...

Probably yes, but I'm getting up at 7.30, drinking perhaps 500ml in two doses before 9.30. Then 45min frequency all the way till lunchtime. Not usually up in the night either. Doesnt seem to fit the mould, especially as I'm sat at a computer all day and my symptoms get better as the day goes on rath...

So why are symptoms worst first thing in the morning?

My symptoms (mostly urinary) are worst first thing in the morning with 45minute frequency. But they gradually improve through the day and after lunchtime, its as if I'm back to normal almost with 2hour frequency. What changes? I'm not drinking a lot in the evenings or anything obvious. Does inflamma...

At 4mm, you're probably right. But throughout this whole thing I've been taking a "leave no stone unturned" attitude hence my interest. If it was 10mm or something, I'd take more note. Even if it did turn out to be responsible for my CPPS, I'd have to think long and hard about whether to surgically ...

Dont know, sorry. Not really sure what the different sorts are, either. When I asked the radiologist if he'd seen anything at the end he said "just a small cyst" and when I quizzed him on the size he said 4mm. But the snapshots will be looked at by my Urologist and so I might hear more from him. Whe...

4mm prostate cyst. Significant?

Morning all, I've had flared up CPPS for about 9months. Before that I probably had minor symptoms for a few years, but thought it was normal and never went to a doctor. The symptom which troubles me most is the frequency. I've had a cystoscopy, all the bacterial cultures etc. etc. Anyway, last week ...
