Thanks Neil , I thought Elmiron would have been available in the UK ?.Maybe the cysto I had done was a trigger for these symptoms or they did some damage to the urethra although the uro won't admit it ,I also have a buzzing sensation in the penis which must be a nerve thing going on,(is this another...

Thanks for the imformative answers Ralph ,I was asking about the cysto as my new symtoms (ie penile urethral pain )came on a month after having one done .The disfunctional uroepithelium of the prostatic urethra sounds feasible for whats going on in CP ,it certainly hurts in that area for me. Thanks ...

Thanks for reply Ralph ,did you have a cystoscopy done or any invasive proceedure ,as I'm convinced these new symptoms have some connection .I'm going to see my doctor to discuss medication next week so I'll ask about neurontin ,are there any side effects taking this drug ?.Are you having any PT don...

Recreating pain symptoms from PT

Hi I've been having PT over the last three months ,although I think I've made some progress ,the PT still hasn't managed to recreate my urethral /penile pain symptoms during trigger point therapy .Is this esential for the therapy to be effective ? .
Thanks for any replies .

Thanks for your help ,I'll try out some of those products ,as the tramadol still isn't working that effectively yet .
Bti if the instrumentation causes hypersensitivity of the area ,surely this must settle down after some time ,I'm hoping so .

Thanks Bti 20 ,I've read a lot of your posts with interest and seem to have similar symptoms ,difference being I didn't have these pinching pain symptoms for the first six months .I'm still hoping that this is a muscle related problem that can be helped with PT ,I have been feeling very anxious abou...
