Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Thanks, webslave. I agree that this likely isn't CPPS. At least not with my symptoms thus far. Can we be *absolutely* certain? No. But there are probably very few people who are exposed to the CPPS world more than you, so you're probably my best chance at any sort of certainty. Last question for a w...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Okay, I think I need some hardcore advice or maybe even some tough love from the group here. If I'm objectively wrong or off at any point here, please point it out. I'm maybe starting to believe that this issue is almost entirely psychosomatic. I don't think it makes a lot of sense for it to be trad...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Just got out of my urology appointment. My urine was analyzed and a bladder ultrasound was performed to check for any post-void retention. Everything was normal so the nurse was pretty confident that the sensation is musculoskeletal. No cystoscopy was performed but perhaps it's because I don't need ...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Yeah. Hopefully, the office is open Monday - I'll call then to set something up then. My insurance was just reinstated last night. So, even though I don't really exhibit any foundational CPPS symptoms, you think I should still continue the CPPS treatment? I have one extra full bottle of Prosta-Q and...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Update: So as you may have expected, I haven't been posting as much because things have generally been better. The visit to my family seemed to help immensely. There were long periods of time where I completely forgot that I was dealing with any issues. My girlfriend called me while I was on vacatio...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Okay, good to hear. I'll see if I can get this looked at while I'm visiting my parents for break.
Though I've had these hemorrhoids for over a decade, I'll hold out hope that the simple rubber band procedure is an option.
Thanks again.

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

If kratom works well for anxiety, I'll have to look into it then. I've heard great things about the efficacy of both kratom and kava - but I know both have some safety concerns (even though they seem to generally be safer than their RX alternatives) Also, I AM taking a LOT of supplements, but it's o...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Hey kevkos, Thank you for the kind words. If I have any physical problems (PF muscle/prostate/what have you) I'm not certain those have improved at all. All I know is that I am coping much better psychologically and that has made it a little bit easier so far. I know it's early for me (I'm about a c...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

Internal hemorrhoids are around the sphincter and will not affect internal massage. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If I insert my finger into my rectum I can feel the hemorrhoids - which are painful. When I inserted the wand, I had some pain with that as well. In other words, putting anyt...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

A question for all the members wiser than I: Ever since I tried using a pelvic wand internally for 2 days in a row (about 2-3 weeks ago), my hemorrhoids have been flaring up. I've had moderately bad internal hemorrhoids pretty often for over ten years now - completely unrelated to my urinary symptom...

Re: 29 Year Old Terrified for His Future

*Update* First, I want to say this (skip to tl;dr if you want to avoid a story): This isn't my first battle with chronic illness and using forums etc geared towards chronic illness. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, from around 2011-2015 I had to cope with a horrible reaction to the antibiotic ...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Thank you, webslave. I think I've already experienced somewhat of a "tell" - which was how I generally had better days while my mother was visiting me. The day I dropped her off at the airport I was feeling better (compared to my first few weeks). Shortly after I arrived back to my lonely apartment,...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Well, I hope you mean to say Yes to me possibly being a CPPS case and not that it is likely to progress to something worse. I recall last month you said if I maintain a decent protocol (trying to control stress, phytotherapy [Prosta-Q], stretches, diet, etc) that it almost certainly won't get worse....

I still think you're in the foothills of CPPS.
I'm curious what exactly you mean by this. Are you implying that it's likely to progress, or that my condition is probably within the realm of CPPS?
