Re: Progress but improvement stalled

Good to hear Ranzzar.

I know what you mean - I used to dread going there at the start, but I just knew it was needed, so stuck with it. It took me 5 or 6 sessions till I noticed any difference, so sounds like you're doing well.

Keep us in the loop on your progress.

Jaw problems - TMJ pain and clicking

Hey guys, I've searched through the forums and found quite a few instances of jaw issues with CPPS, as I expected. I've long thought the two were related. I've been seeing a pelvic PT for quite a few months now, and something interesting has started to happen to my jaw after sessions now - the pain/...

Re: Progress but improvement stalled

Also, following MajorSky1's point - interestingly I saw the PT for about 12 sessions back in 2015 and made zero progress. I was working a very stressful job, also working a lot of nights, which I've now found is awful for your nervous system. Second time around this year, I decided to quit my job an...

Re: Progress but improvement stalled

Best of luck Ranzzar. Definitely go and see one of the girls at the Junction - they'll put your mind at ease, if you're worried about the internal work (as I was). Ange's normally pretty well booked, so might be tough to get in, but I can't recommend her enough. I held off on the internal stuff for ...

Re: Progress but improvement stalled

Ranzzar, Sydney Pelvic Clinic in Bondi Junction would be able to help you, if you want to see a PT. Ange is very good, and I've seen Jaclyn there too. They know their stuff. They also have some good workshops - one specifically on pain and nervous system science, and one for pelvic-specific stretchi...

Do you think it's worth getting a T check if you're older Webslave?

Re: Where to next? Would love to hear any thoughts/advice

Thanks Webslave, appreciate it. Have had a good read today, but shall trawl more through here over the next week. I'm thinking of putting the PT and internal work on the backburner (possibly indefinitely). It has cleared up a lot of trigger point issues and has had a noticeable effect on my nervous ...

Re: Where to next? Would love to hear any thoughts/advice

Ok, thanks. I will try it.

Yeh, I used to have pool and steam room in my apartment complex - did it several times a week.

Where to next? Would love to hear any thoughts/advice

I'll try and keep this as succinct as possible - often a little tough with this condition! I would love any advice or thoughts people are able to offer. My symptoms started in final year of high school, when I was 18 (am 35 now). I developed bladder urgency issues, 'hard flaccid' symptoms, and then ...
