Re: Warning: KETAMINE
Interesting timing to dig this one up. I am working with a pain clinic and Ketamine Infusion therapy is one of things they suggested as option. I am going to give it a try as nothing else has helped, and I've tried a lot. Interested to hear if anyone has recently tried this therapy in a clinical set...

Re: Naltrexone for chronic pain
I tried LDN for roughly 3 months. Unfortunately didn't help my pain and the side effects of vivid dreams forced me to discontinue. Worth a try though!

Re: DR Song in China
Just a heads up that Lucas, the guy who posted a success story video talking about his success at Song's clinic relapsed soon after his return from China and believes Song was no help at all. He also mentioned that a fellow patient he was there with suffered major ED as a result of Songs treatment A...

Re: Dynamic Contraction Technique DCT Therapy thread
Yup, they are definitely dismissive of internal therapy, and it's a physical approach. I think it's worth a shot for those who have invested considerable time an effort in the WA approach but haven't seen results (which unfortunately includes me).

Re: Dynamic Contraction Technique DCT Therapy thread
They have a DCT for Pelvic Pain program that sits behind a paywall (also gets you access to their support group where you can talk to the creators of the program if you have question, concerns etc). The videos in the link above are for Nic's generalized DCT program I think. The pelvic pain program i...

Phage Therapy
WS, it seems the latest fad on the bacterial boards is phage therapy. Apparently there is a some clinics in Europe who are providing this treatment to prostatitis patients. I do my best to avoid those boards but it's been rather quiet around here lately. Just wondering if you've read up on this appr...

Re: AUA 2017 Meeting, abstracts
Webslave, appreciate that response. I responded to those abstracts exactly as you worried, so I understand your reasoning in excluding them. Has caused a huge flare up, of course.

Re: USC Neuroimaging study (Kutch)
I received this email from Dr. Kutch's research assistant and she said I can share here. I encourage anyone in the Western US to participate: Hello xxx, We are conducting a research study of Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CP/CPPS) at the University of Southern California (USC). Re: Dr. Song - New Review
Oh, I certainly won't be booking any flights to china anytime soon. Just a pretty good review among a sea of bad ones. Was mainly wondering if anyone recognized the white guy in the video

Dr. Song - New Review
I know how this forum views Dr. Song and that there a tons of horror stories, but there was recently a pretty detailed positive review for this treatment elsewhere on the internet. It was pretty convincing in terms of it being a legitimate review rather than being a complete shill (which seems to be...

Re: USC Neuroimaging study (Kutch)
Hi xxx, Thanks for your interest. We will be recruiting CP/CPPS participants in a few months. The project started 2/1/2017 and I’m currently hiring personnel and doing the final setup. I anticipate starting recruitment in June 2017. The study will involve 1 visit to the USC Health Science Campus (G...
