Re: Rick’s case - 3 months in and still getting my head roun

Sorry, I hadn't checked back for a while. I'm keeping a diary so I will share how it has been going soon but in short, it's getting slightly better each week with the occasional relapse caused by being very busy or stressing about something e.g. a cystoscopy under a general anaesthetic on Friday :(

I had one in 2006 after my first kidney stone and was ok after but then I wasn't suffering like this. I took ciproflaxacin last September after holidaying in Egypt and coming back with the usual stomach bug. 3 days into taking it I partially tore a tendon out of my bicep which is something Cipro is ...

Hi Webslave, Thanks for that information. I've had that kind of reaction before, to strongly scented shower gel and to soap so I'm careful to steer clear. Those reactions were a stinging pain from the urethra tip and just inside occurring within minutes of contact. The soap burns lasted a day or so ...

Re: Rick’s case - 3 months in and still getting my head roun

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did a lot of reading around reactions to condom latex and ingredients most people's experience seemed to involve redness, rashes etc. or at least something to see and it occurred immediately or hours later so it didn't sound like what I experienced. You are right though, ...

Rick’s case - 3 months in and still getting my head round it

Warning, this goes on a bit :-s This will probably sound very familiar to most on here but after finally believing the negative test results, accepting the fact that I didn’t have herpes/chlamydia/cancer/black plague, that I wouldn’t be passing anything on to my partner, that our NHS GPs are clueles...
